SiriusXM Lineup Change (July 17, 2014) - 20 on 20 removed

SiriusXM adds eight new channels to its lineup on July 17, causing a few moves and two removals: 20 on 20 (Top 40 moves exclusively to Hits 1) and Vivid Radio (an adult entertainment station, moving to its own website). New additions include rhythmic pop station Venus, taking the place of 20 on 20 on the dial, and Y2Kountry.

Now that it's been a few months, I wonder if Venus (hate that name) has delivered what they hoped. I miss 20 on 20, it was a great place to hear emerging acts. Hits1 has tried to dabble a little in this area, but that's not why people are tuning in there. Even though they do includes currents, Venus still feels like another retro channel to me and it's never in my top 5 choices.
