With Jason set to release his lead single for his sixth studio album later this month most likely, and early August at the latest, what has been your favorite lead single from him thus far? Looking at the 5 he's released, I myself am hoping that his next will be better than a couple of these.

Wow, I just realized I have never liked a single Jason Aldean lead single...

Hicktown.
MKP and Take A Little Ride were guilty pleasures at one point. *Ducks*

Wow, I just realized I have never liked a single Jason Aldean lead single... Same here! No vote for me, sorry Sabre! Why are you sorry? This is why I did this, just to let you see how sub-par his leads have been. "Hicktown" is the only one I liked with the last three being either generic ("Take A Little Ride"), too rock ("My Kinda Party") or downright bad ("She's Country"). For me it's: 1. Hicktown 2. Johnny Cash Big Drop Off 3. My Kinda Party 4. Take A Little Ride Way on the bottom 5. She's Country (still one of my least favorites over the past decade)

Not that any of them are 'great' lol, but I voted for Johnny Cash. Hicktown is the only other on that is somewhat listenable for me.

I've always been a Jason Aldean fan and I actually love all of these pretty much equally, so this was actually near impossible for me.
1) Take A Little Ride 2) My Kinda Party 3) Johnny Cash 4) Hicktown 5) She's Country
I almost didn't vote either, but for a completely different reason than others lol. However, I will say, if "Fly Over States" was one of his lead singles, I wouldn't have had to think about it at all- I would have voted for it instantly. Hands down my favorite Aldean song and it's actually one of my favorite country songs in general.

1. Hicktown 2. She's Country
(slight drop) 3. Johnny Cash 4. My Kinda Party
(big drop, still like, but not as strong as his others) 5. Take a Little Ride
Edit: his first five lead singles are much better than this "burning" pile of dung.

Completely agree withe KendallRocks, "Fly Over States" in terms of quality is far and away Jason's finest single. I love "Hicktown" and "She's Country" (and really enjoy most everything else), but "Fly Over States" is pure poetry in my opinion. Was it just me, or did his last album feel a little muted to you? I liked a lot of his singles, but something about them seemed to lack a bit of the energy that prior albums had. I also was hoping for "This Nothing Town" to be released as it was my favorite on the CD, but understand that thematically it is rather similar to "Fly Over States"

"My Kinda Party" beats out "Hicktown" while the others are miles upon miles behind.

Oh my god, these are all absolutely dreadful. Yeah, I never realized how bad his lead singles are. "Take a Little Ride" was kind of enjoyable. But then again, I'm not really an avid Aldean fan outside of Wide Open.

Ouch, rough group of songs. I went with "Take A Little Ride". "My Kind Of Party" would have been my second choice, I guess.
His lead singles really aren't among his best songs.

Aye aye aye, that is not a good group of lead singles. I don't hate MKP or TALR so I'll go with My Kinda Party.
"Burnin' It Down" is by far the best IMO.

Update: after "Burnin' it Down" just got released this week, I can now rest assured that he's continuing his streak of releasing abominable lead singles.
"Burnin' it Down" is by far the worst IMO.
