This appears to have been removed from PlayIGA. Unclear why.

I'm assuming Interscope just decided it didn't want the word out early because this one is still coming out this week. Rixton Tweeted that it hits iTunes tomorrow at midnight.

Official single cover: It's not on iTunes like it's supposed to be. But there is a new song called "Whole" that will be on The Giver soundtrack that is due out August 5.

Interested in hearing this. I loved Me And My Broken Heart. Interscope seems to have a good amount of faith in them.

I like it! Definitely reminds me of Maroon 5's One More Night.

It's definitely a better song than MAMBH (which burned on me EXTREMELY fast!)
This is great!

Big test for them.
We'll find out whether "Me and My Broken Heart" succeeded because of On the Verge and because people were really just remembering "Lonely No More" or whether there is legitimate interest in this band.

This is as catchy as MAMBH and it should have no problem becoming another big hit for them.

I like this and I think it'll grow on me more.
I see the One More Night similarities, more so in the influences than anything else. The whistle in the post chorus is straight up Ace Of Base.

Hmm this is nice, but it'll have to grow on me a lot really.
And that post-chorus whistle is straight up Ace Of Base alright [3]

Doesn't look like this has broken the Top 200 yet on iTunes. I could still see this being successful as its close enough in quality and catchiness to MAMBH, but there is real reason to question whether these guys have become the boy band heartthrobs that Interscope thinks they are.

I like this, but they are destined to be overshadowed by 5SOS. 1D/The Wanted all over again...

There's something about Rixton I take more seriously than I do 1D/5SOS/The Wanted.

I like this, but they are destined to be overshadowed by 5SOS. 1D/The Wanted all over again... That's the curious thing, because it's even the same situation with the first singles, Me and my broken heart was way more successful than She looks so perfect (the same Glad you came was more successful than What makes you beautiful, of course both were more successful than me an my broken heart). 5SOS album is selling really well, on the Sam Smith/Ed Sheeran league. In my opinion this single could be the real test for Rixton. The wanted was unable to made a successful follow up. Anyway, i doubt Amnesia will be big, and that's not stopping 5SOS of selling albums

Anyway, i doubt Amnesia will be big, and that's not stopping 5SOS of selling albums Yes, but WMYB eventually overtook GYC's sales. The former's at 4.5 million while the latter's only around 3.5 million. However, MAMBH is too far ahead of SLSP for the latter to overtake it, but SLSP will probably be the better remembered song over time (like how WMYB is still a 2010s classic whereas GYC is mostly forgotten).

However, MAMBH is too far ahead of SLSP for the latter to overtake it, but SLSP will probably be the better remembered song over time (like how WMYB is still a 2010s classic whereas GYC is mostly forgotten). To be fair, i don't think any of both song will be remembered at all. Only if one of those groups end having a long career (long career in terms of boyband, of course) people will remember that song. GYC and WMYB both were top 10 hits, sold a lot and had long runs on the chart. Me and my broken heard and She looks so perfect both were decent hits, but nothing more. With boybands you never know, BSB and N'Sync were totally ignored in the USA at first. I think nobody really thought, not even Simon Cowell that OD would be so big (as a boyband they are really lacking any dance talent). There's a new tendency in boybands, and i think it's a wise one, to start their careers playing instruments. I think that could make easier the transition in case they stay for quite time on the business. Anyway, even without big hits (the truth is even OD has very few big hits for such success in albums) 5SOS is selling really well the album. And i think that could be the key. Even when they were ahead OD, the Wanted never carried great sales on albums. Being able to score a good follow up to their debut single is another important think. OD did only ok, but by then they were selling a lot of albums
