Isn't the whole point of releasing a 1st single to promote the album and get airplay to hype sales (unless you're Beyonce)? It makes no sense for them to have an adds date 2 weeks after the album release date, let alone nearly 4 months since releasing the song digitally. Who the hell is in charge here at her label that is screwing stuff up this bad? WTF. It could still take off, but the album is not going to chart well, or so it appears. Aside from the video, it seems like they've really messed up what could've been a perfect storm for first week sales.

The song has been really moving in the past few hours and is currently #22 on iTunes. Hopefully they promote now.

I wonder what else would have prompted that surge. There's plenty of interest left in the single, so hopefully this will get pushed to pop radio!!!!!

She was on DWTS, and the "youtube" chick performed to this song, so I imagine it's getting a lot of views from that (both live and on youtube - wonder if that counts for streaming?).

Does anyone know if this was finally sent to CHR/POP stations on October 11th? Ready for this to blow up!
*edit: just realized it was the 21st, not 11th.
Oy. Can they mess this up any more????!??!?

Oh my goodness... is this why they waited? Is this the version being sent to Pop stations? The generic beat defeats the whole purpose! Why not just pick one of her up beat songs from the album? Help!!!

Like make it into a power ballad following the first chorus with like violins, orchestra and sh*t. Not like classical sounding, but those kind of power ballads you hear on Hot AC.

Ew.... no... this doesn't fit the song at all, and it kills everything I loved about it. :(

wtf
I don't get why so many acts think they have to remix ballads into dance songs to become hits. Like when was the last time we had a straight-up generic dance song hit #1? So far the only remotely similar productions to reach the Top 10 this year are "Stay The Night", "Burn", "Summer", and "Break Free". Times are changing. Riskier single choices are doing well, and this type of music is becoming outdated.

Does anyone know if this is still going for adds today????
Also, it jumped almost 20 spots to 65 on the Hot 100, only ten away from its 55 peak!!
C'mon Colbie!!!

But yeah, there are other ways to go other than the standard dance remix.

Ballads have done fairly well this year, and this has sold well, so there's clearly some interest. They have nothing to lose by simply giving it a chance.

...This got zero adds today. I blame this entirely on the label. At this point, they might as well scrap this and release something else. lol

There is just absolutely no way this would have gotten zero adds if the adds date was today. I mean, at least some would've added it. But if the adds date was never pushed back then yikes, her team/label messed this one up. This era has been a disaster for Colbie. :'(

This is an effortless gem of a little song. Will be a shame if it doesn't get a proper push, though who knows if CHR right now would be open to this?

I'm annoyed this is flopping on pop radio.

Now scheduled for a January 13 adds date, according to Republic Playbook. Unfortunately, I'm worried that's going to be too late for it to do anything here.

Ok now, it seems that it was more likely pulled (or it just straight up flopped) from the last adds date.
While I also agree that it might be a little too late for an adds date, I do hope it gains some traction at Pop. This is a genuine song, Pop should be playing material like this at least sometimes, not all the mindless crap they play nowadays. I also hope the remix is not the one that will be pushed, just give them the choice between the original and the mix.

Just got around to hearing the remix. While i normally support making songs like these getting the remix treatment to be more easily accessible on CHR, this particular "pop remix" sounds EXTREMELY cheap.

I could actually cry with what happened here.
Right now she has about 30 million audience impressions just with the AC stations. Over the summer she debuted at #69 and then reached #55 on the Hot 100 with the heavy streaming she acquired. One week in October Try got 47,000 digital downloads and shot up the chart to #65. Basically, everything peaked at totally different times. Adding radio in January will be pointless. They should heavily promote Just Like That or Blaze to Pop and pray!
Where is this river that Ella, Jessie J, and Katy are singing about? I am going to drown myself in it haha!
