I feel like he throws so many singles out before an album and shortly after it releases and then moves on to the next one too quickly. I thought the current album still had some life in it.

I'm still disappointed in YM not releasing "Wu Tang Forever".

His last album was his weakest imo so I'm ready for the next era for sure.

I love Take Care and I love him, but his last album didn't do it for me. Next. I feel like he throws so many singles out before an album and shortly after it releases and then moves on to the next one too quickly. I thought the current album still had some life in it. So true! He does not give his CDs enough time to really catch on with the public. From the opening line of the article: So judging by that, it'll probably be Q4 2015 at the earliest. Meaning Nothing Was the Same will have had almost two years to catch on with the public. The same amount of time Take Care did. He's better striking while the iron is hot than taking extended breaks. Two years is plenty.

He just released the lead single though... If you're referring to '0 to 100/Catch Up', that's not the lead single. It's a buzz track like Beyoncé's 'Bow Down/I Been On'. Unless he dropped something else I haven't heard at all.

Drake -- Model Calls Cops ... He Threatened Me Over Swag PicsDrake is under investigation for allegedly threatening an ex -- this time in Arizona -- and it sounds almost exactly like the accusations a Houston stripper made against him. Shaye G -- an Internet model who was linked to Drake while he was with Rihanna -- says the rapper fired off some angry text messages to her last weekend because she posted photos of expensive purses he bought for her. In one message, Shaye says Drake warned if he sees her anywhere, she's "getting run up outta there." She felt threatened enough to get her dad involved, who told Drake to back off. Shaye reported the alleged threats to cops in AZ early this week -- and we've confirmed they are investigating, but have not spoken to Drake yet. We've reached out to his camp, but now word back yet. It's unclear why Shaye's pics pissed off Drake, but it might be because she posted them as he was catching hell from Houston stripper Jhonni Blaze. As we previously reported ... Blaze also told police she was threatened by people in Drake's camp. Shaye says she decided to go to the cops after seeing our story. Source

I don't think he dropped that. I think that's just a collection of songs he's been on/leaked in the past few months. Most of those are on ITunes so I don't think he'd release them for free.
Those 3 new songs he leaked are the BUSINESS tho.

www.rap-up.com/2014/12/08/drake-diddy-brawl-at-miami-nightclub/Drake can’t escape the drama. After being caught in the middle of Chris Brown and Karrueche’s breakup, the “0 to 100″ rapper had a physical confrontation with Diddy at a Miami nightclub on Monday morning. The fight reportedly erupted at DJ Khaled’s birthday party outside LIV Miami at the Fontainebleau Hotel over an argument regarding music rights to an unknown song. “Drake and Diddy got into it outside the club,” an eyewitness told Page Six. “They were arguing over the rights to a song, and got into a physical fight. Diddy claimed that Drake was using music without the proper rights.” According to TMZ, Diddy said, “You will never disrespect me” before punching Drizzy, who was stunned but wasn’t knocked out. Despite rumors, the brawl was not over Diddy’s girlfriend Cassie. Once the fight was broken up, Drake left the scene while Diddy went inside the club. Rick Ross’ DJ Sam Sneaker claims that Drake was taken to the hospital for a dislocated shoulder. However, these reports cannot be confirmed. Diddy put hands on that boy … And he Ain't go 0-100 … That boy left. — Sam Sneak (@djsamsneaker) December 8, 2014 Drake at the Hospital Smh. — Sam Sneak (@djsamsneaker) December 8, 2014 He dislocated his Shoulder. — Sam Sneak (@djsamsneaker) December 8, 2014 The beef reportedly started after Drake dissed Diddy onstage during NBA All-Star Weekend by grabbing the mic out of his hand as they performed together. The two collaborated in the past on Diddy-Dirty Money’s single “Loving You No More,” and Drake even performed at REVOLT’s Super Bowl party earlier this year.

Welp.
Money is a more believable reason than Cassie though.

...still no actual confirmation of this beyond Lil Duval admitting he made shit up and then trying to backtrack and say he was only making up the reason for the fight, not the fight itself? I'll believe it happened when I actually see some proof or hear from a more credible witness.
Mainly I'm just shocked Sean would throw a punch himself instead of hiring three goons to do it for him.

According to TMZ: "Our sources say, producer Boi-1da had given both Diddy and Drake a song to record more than 8 months ago (0-100). We're told Diddy sat on the song, which frustrated Drake because he wanted to record it. So recently Drake recorded the song on his own and it did well, which pissed Diddy off.
Diddy saw Drake at LIV Monday for the first time since the song was released. Sources close to Diddy say he confronted Drake, who just blew him off, and that's when Diddy said, "You'll never disrespect me again," and then punched him." -TMZ

Official. BTW, NO ONE wants to hear Diddy rap over "0 to 100". Diddy and Drake’s fight is getting ugly…real quick. The Bad Boy mogul threw punches at Drizzy at a Miami nightclub over the weekend, and it was all over a song. TMZ has obtained footage of Puff onstage with Ma$e at Story nightclub in Miami in June, months before their physical altercation. An infuriated Diddy tells the packed crowd that Drake jacked the “0 to 100” beat. “I gave that shit to this ni**a, this ni**a stole this shit from me. But at the end of the day, shit is still hard,” he said before the DJ played Drake’s version. The song, produced by Boi-1da and co-produced by Noah “40” Shebib and Nineteen85, ended up getting nominated twice for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Diddy punched Drake outside DJ Khaled’s birthday at Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel on Monday morning and told him, “You will never disrespect me.” Drake reportedly injured his shoulder in the brawl, but appeared to be back on his feet. He posted a couple Instagram photos in his hotel room on Wednesday morning. “They’re either talking shit about you or stealing the shit you’re talking…either way the name been poppin,” he wrote in one cryptic tweet. www.rap-up.com/2014/12/10/diddy-drake-stole-0-to-100-from-me/

I guess he's really the first to successfully follow Beyoncé's surprise album.
