Thought it was light and the outrage was expected.

Got this on vinyl for Christmas, and I absolutely love it! The entire album is solid and I enjoyed it when it first came out, but hearing it on a record player just gives me a rejuvenated interest in it!

Does this album actually sound better on vinyl? I think it does, mainly because it forced me to sit down and actually take a listen.

Drake Says His Grammy Wins For 'Hotline Bling' Feel Weird Because 'It's Not a Rap Song'

Drake attends the 2016 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on Nov. 20, 2016 in Los Angeles.
Despite the fact that Drake had one of the highest amounts of Grammy nominations this year (he had eight, one less than Beyoncé's nine), the Toronto rapper didn't attend the Feb. 12 awards show. While his concert in Manchester, England, was the main reason Drake missed out on accepting his two awards, judging by the latest episode of his weekend show on Apple's Beats 1, he wouldn't have wanted to be there anyway.
In an interview with Britain's DJ Semtex -- which was recorded the day after the Grammys -- Drake expressed his frustration with the Recording Academy for only recognizing him as a rap artist when his songs were actually mega pop hits.
"I’m a black artist, I’m apparently a rapper, even though 'Hotline Bling' is not a rap song," Drake said on the show. "The only category that they can manage to fit me in is in a rap category, maybe because I’ve rapped in the past or because I’m black."

Drake Confused by Kanye West's Slams: 'I Don't Respect It At All'
"Hotline Bling" was the source of Drake's Grammy wins this year, winning both Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. On top of acknowledging his Grammy-winning track, Drake also mentioned that his dance-y smash "One Dance" (which was the first song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify) didn't receive any recognition whatsoever. Perhaps this is because, as he suggested, both tracks are pop songs versus rap songs: "But I never get any credit for that," he said.
“I won two awards but I don’t even want them because it feels weird to me,” Drake continued, adding that he wants to be like Michael Jackson and other artists he looked up to. Drake was among a handful of prominent artists who didn't attend this year's Grammys, a list that also included nominees Frank Ocean, Kanye West and Justin Bieber. Ocean later dubbed the annual show "dated" and claimed it was out of touch with black artists.
With his More Life project expected sometime this year, Drake may have another chance at getting recognition as a pop artist. Whether the Recording Academy will take his frustrations into consideration, time will only tell.

New Drake album on Friday??? hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=305282Monday, March 6, 2017 KA-BOOM! HERE COMES DRAKEA Drake album containing 20 newly recorded tracks could surprise-drop as soon as this weekend from YMCMB/Republic. According to U.K. sources, much of the LP was recorded with British and European collaborators during Drake’s January-February Boy Meets World Tour of Europe and the U.K., as he begins to make his brand more global. During his six sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena, Drake strongly hinted that his annual OVO Fest, which has been held in Toronto every summer since 2010, may be staged in London this year. He also teased a possible Young Money reunion tour, which would presumably include Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj as well as Drizzy himself. In other Drake action, OVO Sound, the label he founded in 2012 with partners Oliver El-Khatib and producer Noah “40” Shebib, has renewed its distribution deal with Warner Bros. Records. The OVO roster includes PARTYNEXTDOOR, dvsn, Majid Jordan, Céline Nakouzi, OB O’Brien and Roy Woods; the label also has a stable of in-house producers.

There's apparently another Rihanna feature on it? I got this from Wikipedia so maybe not real but I'm excited nonetheless.

My money is on neither. I don't think most Drizzy fans are here for those types of collabs from him and if they appear, they will be as one-off singles or on the albums of the collaborators, not on Drizzy's.

JLo claimed on some interviews that the future of their collab is on Drake's hands, as she doesn't know what he'll do with it. I can't see it being on this album/playlist.
The TSwift collab was never confirmed and again, I can't see something like that on More Life.

They would still be fun. Even throwaway tracks would be massive. A Taylor new song with drake would rocket to 1 even if just for a week.
But as long as the album is good. Who cares. Just would love to have some other artists work with new people. JLO and drake would be awesome. I think with the sound drake is going for would be so good. She would kill it.

And besides, jlo can just be doing a chorus. Plenty of urban people love jlo. Don't forget all her songs with ja rule lol. She's very accepted in the urban base and it would totally work with her on a drake song.
Maybe we can. Get the long rumored Adele collaboration. Or at least another Rihanna track lol.

I'm not saying they'd be bad. JLo in particular could be fun, but I don't think they fit with what we've heard of More Life.
Of course I could be proven wrong in just a few hours...
