His two last videos are really better than the first ones. I like when the videos tell you a story (and if it match the lyrics, even better)

He is not a visual artist, in terms of videos he is more on Adele league. Anyway his last two videos tell a story and i like that. When he said he wanted to be a mix between Elton John and George Michael, is obvious that in this album the George Michael part is absent (even when we know that he can deliver dance songs for his collaborations). Maybe he could learn from George in the visual part of the presentation of his songs, because George Michael had great videos (nobody really filled the void that George left on mainstream after his scandals).
Anyway, if the intention of the video was promoting the song, it worked, because it's now 150 on itunes (and the only difference was the video, as far as i know there was no performance). Anyway, the song was number one on itunes when it was released so it will probably react very well to any change. I expect the same reaction when it start to receive airplay

I wish "Safe With Me" was being released next (even though it's not on the album). I'm in love with that song.

I think this could do pretty well seeing SWM's success.

I think I may like this more than "Stay With Me". However this is coming from someone who never got the height behind it.

It's top 10 on uk itunes two weeks before its release. I doubt this could fight for another number one givin how many copies he sold from the album, but it seems like a sure shot top 10 for him there

I really like this, but mostly because it's him singing. Generally, I consider vocals to just be another part of the equation, but Sam is a rare exception for me.

In recent years, after a lot of years of autotune singers, it seems there's a trend of very good voices getting some success, but Sam is a very special case, his voice has a wide range, he is able to deliver fantastic live performances, but his voice is a lot more than singing acrobatics, he is able to express a lot of feelings with his voice, wich makes a lot easier to connect with the lyrics. The fact that his voice is very recognoscible it helps too. I expect this to start getting airplay soon, specially if he sings it at the VMAS

Yes, he's got a beautiful and soulful voice.
I like this song, it gives me Diane Birch teas.

Climbs to #9 in the UK, becoming his 3rd Top 10 as a solo artist (4th overall) there.

I don't think it will go too much further there. The following week was the proper release but it was on the chart for several weeks so i don't expect a climb.
And now he is reaching the point in the UK (the album is in the top 5 since the release) that his next singles probably struggle to be that higher. Set fire to the rain didn't reach the top 10 on UK because the album was selling a lot, anyway, Adele's album continued selling even without the release of any more single.
But he probably needs to experiment a bit with the reception of the singles previous to their release in the USA. A good reception of his next singles could mean the album still selling big through the holiday season (if the predictions end being true, he probably will get a push on award season)

I really like this one. I think I enjoy it more than "Stay With Me", although it's really close.

Under Cool New Music across the usual formats now, in case there was any doubt due to "Safe With Me."

I can't see this doing well on pop. Well, that's what people said of Stay with me. Frankly, right now i think he will do well with anything. The song did extremely well on itunes when it was released, i think it only will need a positive reception on itunes to radio spin the hell out of it

And the album is back to number one.
I think we'll probably see some movement with this on charts, it only entered on the AAA chart with an erratic first week, but with adds in 8 days it will start to climb there and maybe even appear on hot AC chart (on the Urban charts and Rythmic Stay with me is still climbing).
Maybe if we get an update of the 50-200 positions this start to show it, on pop it will be curious given the fact that Safe with me was near top 70

I'm sort of getting into this...I've really had to force myself. I wish they would remix it for radio if they are really pushing this as the 2nd single in the US.

He has his sound and his sound sells (at least till now), anyway i think there's already a remix. I'm not a fan of sending remixes to radio, apart of a few cases (Missing, You are not alone, Waves) generally the remix not add anything and a lot of times it ruined the song. I was happy Lana del Rey had her hit, but the remix of Summertime sadness ruined the song. There are enough dance tracks on chart without the need of transform ballads into dance songs

The Armand Van Helden remix is fantastic but it's more of a club remix than a radio ready remix.

I didn't like the way the remix of Stay With Me was done, but I do agree that this could benefit from a re-tweaking.
At the very least, I hope that they speed it up a tiny bit on radio. It would definitely make it more instant imo.
