Taylor's upcoming press schedule has leaked and there is a media event scheduled for the 18th and Taylor will go on GMA the day after,I assume to announce a Concert for the upcoming album release. The Media event for the 18th I assume for this single's release.

I'm not sure why anybody is concerned with whether country radio will play a Taylor pop song. Country radio is virtually pop radio sung with a twang at this point, so I would expect radio to eat up whatever is released.

Maybe because the songs from her last album weren't well received at country radio. Only Begin Again did well (and frankly that number one had payola written all over it)

She didn't really seem to release the good country songs to country radio last time. She should have gone with "Stay Stay Stay" or "The Lucky One" or something.

Jimmy Fallon confirmed last night that Taylor Swift will be on his show for a special surprise Wednesday, August 13th at 11:34 PM ET. She is listed for his show (as the A interview guest), but Ryan Adams is the musical guest that night. The assumption is that her interview is meant to push "The Giver," which releases two days later. That said, I'd be shocked if they don't do something to hint at her new song.

Doesn't really seem like country radio is necessarily ignoring Taylor, despite her releasing very borderline country-sounding music. Maybe I'm missing a single release or something?

"Stay Stay Stay" is a shame it wasn't released! It would have slayed! That song had #1 written all over it.

Clue #2 is a screenshot of her phone saying 5:00PM. Soo I guess that's when it's dropping on the 18th?

That's true, but in the case of Begin again was really really obvious. The song was stalling around 5 and suddenly that big spin increases was more than suspicious. But yes, we are talking about a chart with a different number one every week, so payola works full time there for sure. The payola was so obvious that it ended being number one on mediabase but only reaching 3 on billboard because it dropped like a stone after reaching number one And i didn't say country radio was ignoring her, i said the songs weren't well received (for someone so popular in the format before)

"Begin Again" was certainly well recieved; it had great callout scores from country listeners (I remember it ranking #1 on a few occasions). "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was the sole release from her last album that experienced a notably poor reception with listeners.

So the new clue is a screenshot of the Yahoo! logo.
Seems like she's premiering the single at 5PM on August 18 via a Yahoo! Live Stream this year, as opposed to the Google Hangout she did for We are Never.

But WANEGBT premiered on her YouTube live chat and then went on iTunes at midnight? Semantics issue. YouTube is owned by Google; the chat was simulcast as a "YouTube Live Chat" and a "Google Plus Hangout." www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6gFma4H7fAThe latest hint seems to imply she made a deal to do this year's release chat on the Yahoo! network.

Stay Stay Stay is at the bottom of my chart if i rank up Red :o Did you forget about "I Almost Do" or something? "I Almost Do" is lovely and basically the interlude to "All Too Well." My least favorite on Red was probably "Sad, Beautiful, Tragic." It just never did anything for me.
