onebuffalo Since you mentioned Steve Sanders in your Most #1’s thread I have to ask how many of The Oak Ridge Boys Top 10’s was he a part of? I didn’t realize he was a part of “This Crazy Love” until I bought the CD. The only other song I ever recall him being on that was a top 10 was “Gonna Take A Lot Of River”.

I didn’t realize he was a part of “This Crazy Love” until I bought the CD. The only other song I ever recall him being on that was a top 10 was “Gonna Take A Lot Of River”. Steve Sanders was NOT part of This Crazy Love. That was the last hit the Oak Ridge Boys had with William Lee Golden (I said as such in the Most #1s thread). Anyway, here is the hit list where Sanders was a part of the Oaks. Ready? 1. Time In-1987-#17 2. True Heart-1988-#5 3. Gonna Take A Lot Of River-1988-#1 4. Bridges And Walls-1989-#10 5. Beyond Those Years-1989-#7 6. An American Family-1989-#4 7. No Matter How High-1990-#1 8. You're My Soul And Inspiration-1991-#31 9. Lucky Moon-1991-#6 I hope this helps.

As of right now I’m waiting on 3 songs to leave the top 10 to compile the year end chart using Joel Whitburn’s method of tabulating. Waiting on Luke Combs, Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett so far. If Lady A and Jon Pardi don’t reach a new peak level I’ll be waiting on them as well. I think those 2 will reach higher on the chart but whether either will hit #1 with Dan & Shay breathing down their necks remains to be seen. Then again I also didn’t pay attention to the audience so I don’t know how far ahead they are of the duo.

Depending on how things go in the next several weeks we could see Jason Aldean push into the top 50 on the list and Luke Bryan into the top 60 on the list. As far as people I see making it to the list this decade, these 3 easily come to mind as all of them to me are on fire right now. Luke Combs, Maren Morris and Old Dominion. Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch and Kane Brown are the others I could see having more than 10 top 10’s before the 2020’s are over. I’m sure there are others that I’m not thinking of at the moment. I’m excited to see what the new decade brings!

Here are all of Kenny Rogers 36 top 10 hits with peaks and peak dates. I'm proud to say I own all of these songs but "The Factory". All of them but that song and the #1 "Tomb Of The Unknown Love" are on the compilation called 42 Ultimate Hits. Why them 2 songs are excluded I have no clue.
