Artist: Pawnshop Kings Single: "Love Like Jesus" Label: Sony Add Date: August 18th, 2014 Source: Billboard going for adds (issue July 28th, 2014) jhomes87 brought up the fact that these guys were signed to Sony though the Billboard going for adds didn't mention the Nashville division part, so I'm not sure if they will get promotion from the Nashville division of Sony or not. This song isn't really country to me at all though I think's it's a pretty good tune. I'm guessing this won't due much at country radio, though they've had this lyric video up courtesy of vevo for a while.

jhomes87 & sabre14 Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have checked these guys out and was pleasantly surprised. The sparse instrumentation and back to roots interpretation is balm on the soul; and the two leads work perfectly toghether. The sound is reminiscent of the 1st and 3rd British music invasion; randomly also very 60s. No-frills and "what you see is what you get" kind of offering. The featured song "Love Like Jesus" is a bit heavy on the "Christian" side; I preferred other songs like "Gonna Let You Go" and the very quite ones like "When You're Holding Me". Would not classify it as country; it is rather folk & indie. Definitely an addition to my current playlist.

Not country at all (like most people nowadays) but I like their sound!
