Wow, that's more old-school than anything on their last album. I predict top 5 on Active, 1 spin on Alt. 3 spins if they're lucky.

It doesn't sound much like a single to me, but sounds like an album track off the first album.

It's not very radio friendly, but damn is it aggressive and badass. Should be able to chart well on active just because they've been gone for so long. I wonder what the rest of the album will sound like.

I'll bet this is just like "All Hope Is Gone" from the last album, which was released as a teaser track before "Psychosocial" came out.

Cool song, but yeah it does not sound radio friendly at all. This might be a bit too heavy for Active too.

Pardon my French, but this is fucking awesome! However, no way does it sound like a single and yes is definitely too heavy for Alternative to give it any play. Active possibly too. It does sound like a teaser for the upcoming album completely.

This went for adds today according to FMQB. Sending this for adds is a bit silly. They release these super-heavy metal songs as teasers to please their early original fanbase, but those kind of diehard fans probably aren't listening to active rock radio...as I doubt they'd have any patience to sit through Theory of A Deadman and Weezer just to hear Slipknot.

who the fuck flagged this on youtube? It's just a tamer version of a Marylin Manson vid. The song is good for Slipknot standards, but it's not "Dead Memories nor "Psychosocial". An important element seems to be missing(Paul Grey). I also feel that I truely got the feel of thier songs only when they showcased thier "personas" It made the vids come alive. Anyway, I wouldn't mind "The Negative One" going Top 10 on Active.
