Carrie Underwood β Jesus, Take the Wheel
While i'm not a fan of Carrie Underwood, I do enjoy this song quite a bit and she has a pretty powerful voice too.

Mary Chapin Carpenter - I Am a Town, e.g.:
I am peaches in September, and corn from a roadside stall I'm the language of the natives, I'm a cadence and a drawl I'm the pines behind the graveyard, and the cool beneath their shade, where the boys have left their beer cans, I am weeds between the graves.

George Strait- I Got A Car
We got lost in the miles lost track of the days/till we finally found a stoppin' place When the doctor said you know what's on the way And we found ourselves in a little white house/one Sunday mornin' rain pourin' down She said I think it's time but all the lines are out And her eyes teared up and she said what are we gonna do now
Dixie Chicks- Silent House One room/two single beds/in the closet hangs your favorite dress The books that you read/are in scattered piles of paper shreds
And I'll remember the years when you're mind was clear/how the laughter and life filled up this silent house
Carrie Underwood- Just A Dream
It was two weeks after the day she turned eighteen All dressed in white Going to the church that night She had his box of letters in the passenger seat Sixpence in a shoe, something borrowed, something blue And when the church doors opened up wide She put her veil down Trying to hide the tears Oh she just couldn't believe it She heard the trumpets from the military band And the flowers fell out of her hand
The preacherman said let us bow our heads and pray Lord please lift his soul/and heal this hurt Then the congregation all stood up and sang/The saddest song that she ever heard And then they handed her a folded up flag/And she held on to all she had left of him And then the guns rang on last shot/And it felt like a bullet in her heart

Kip Moore - "Crazy One More Time"
We'll park the car, climb on the hood Turn it up when something good Starts playing through these rusty doors And in the sticky sweet air tonight I'll kiss you girl 'til I get it right Cause I know, that'll lead to more The weeds have all grown around Where I'll gently lay you down And I try to tell you how I feel But you'll place your finger on my mouth Whisper, "Baby, no not now." The night is young and we still got time to steal
With the engine burning through my jeans I watch you fall fast asleep And this small town sky fade from black to blue And I wipe a tear from my eye But you'll never know cause baby I'll Smile as I wave goodbye to you

Mary Chapin is the master of great imagery.

"21 Summer" - Brothers Osborne
I hope you find the storm that you were chasing, Hope your eyes are still as full of dreams As they were that night when you slipped off those cut off jeans When I hear the sound of high tide thunder, I can see your hair blowing in the breeze I think about how you and that 21 summer made a man of me, Yeah you made a man of me

"Nobody To Blame" - Chris Stapleton
The descriptions are pretty vivid, including tearing a wedding photo in half and filling the lawn mower gas tank.

Faith Hill's "When The Light Go Down", especially the first part of it... one of my favorites!
When the lights go down He'll be fillin' a pan with a broom in his hand In some dive across town He'll be wipin' the bar, and moppin' the floor Countin' his tips, and lockin' the doors Wrestling the Devil that tells him to pour another round When the lights go down She'll be callin' her friends from her Mercedes Benz But it's too late now They were there for the fame, the flash, and the thrill For the drop of the name, the parties, the pills As another star falls from the Hollywood Hills without a sound

Kip Moore - Crazy One More Time Agreed, I think, "Everything But You," has it even more though from the same album.
