I actually didn't like this as much as I thought I would, but it sounds like it was lifted right off of RED and that's not neccessarily a bad thing either. Sounds like she has a hit with this.

Wow, this is pretty much just a blatant Taylor Swift leftover, it's almost insane. Not only in just the feel of the song, but the instrumental even has the faux-country sound! This could literally be WANEGBT's cousin. So she definitely doesn't have the passionate fanbase I thought she did. Another one that didn't light the iTunes chart on fire out of the gate. It's #49 after 10 hours. "Chasing the Sun" peaked at #22. That's pretty good. She's not Ariana Grande rocking it to #1 in just minutes, but she's also not failing to even make the top 100 like some artists when they release new singles. It's been seven years since her last full-length album, and a large percentage of people that were her fans then have since moved on, but most of them can come back if they know she's there, but the problem is, even though the hype is there, she's not at the forefront (yet), so many people still don't even know she's back yet.

Not to mention she just went on vacation for about a week. Lol she will start the promotional rounds soon. Also, this time she doesn't have a music video supporting her. Although her audio video is now up. ALSO, CTS actually peaked at #21 on iTunes, technically #20 because Maroon 5's Maps - Single was temporarily taken off of iTunes so they could switch to the album version.

RCA's music delivery service. I can't link to it. The link you have is internal delivery, they haven't sent it to radio yet. They will send it to radios today. Can you confirm this at all do you have connections with RCA? It's not on allaccess.com or fmqb ?

I agree with most of the members. This song reminds me of Taylor.
I like it. CTS is a better song IMO.\
Hopefully this one will smash.

Although it's kind of funny hearing her sing such "naughty" lyrics, I love the playfulness of the record and the fact that she's singing with her full voice. Granted she's never had a strong radio presence to begin with, I do hope this gains some traction.

Swift's new single could kill any momentum this will have next week.

I saw this already went for adds on Rhythm/Crossover on ATRL, but I can't find it now on FMQB. Anyways, hoping this smashes. The song is perfect. FYI, anyone know how to make an account on ATRL? It's saying it will not accept more ppl at this time. Are there only specific times ppl can sign up? EDIT: jk found it. webcitation.org/6RmOSH8cG

I cannot believe how good this is, the chorus is perfect. I can't stop listening. And my complete and total apathy for Hillary Duff continues. Unremarkable. you are atrocious.

Swift's new single could kill any momentum this will have next week. Depends on the sound Taylor goes for with her new album.

Why does everyone think T.Swift is going to kill this song's momentum??? Can the songs co-exist?

Why does everyone think T.Swift is going to kill this song's momentum??? Can the songs co-exist? Not if they are similar sounding. Pop radio will go with a known entity in Taylor over somebody that's been out of the game for the better part of a decade.

It is a great song, but maybe just a bit too much of a Taylor leftover with the Lumineers thrown in for good measure.

This is so, so good. It's like Red-era Taylor mixed with The Lumineers and then run through Max Martin's computer...I fucking love it. And her voice :'(- it's funny that she went from 'Chasing the Sun', which is possibly her flattest vocal performance ever, to this, on which she's never sounded better.
