- Looks like "The Walker" was played on the bulk of North American affiliates although KIIS in Los Angeles (home base of AT40) played Jennifer Lopez's "First Love" in the slot of "The Walker"

All things considered, I kind of want to see the non-optional Extras - the ones just titled Extra - just go away, if only because it seems like their only rationale for even being there is, just because. I can think of no other reason for "The Monster" or "The Walker" (the latter not even having been played on the show before this!) to even be there.

I'm sure they're there to make the show time out properly (Dees does the same thing). I'd rather hear music any day than rambling interviews with the Kardashians.

It's an interesting song but it never made the countdown. It just made a small impact on mainstream radio.

I know it went pretty high on AT40's Hot AC show. Did "The Walker" ever become a breakout or on the verge on The CHR version of AT40?

Not at all. It could probably be an extra for the Hot AC version of AT40, and it inadvertently was added to this chart.

Same here. I was listening online to a station in Illinois, and they too, played "The Walker" as an extra.

^ My station, Y100 in Miami also played The Walker. It's better than a lot of the songs, IMO. So whether
it was a mistake or not, I'm glad they played it. We get a jackpot at lucky #7 this week, a black widow, and
a dark horse.
I think Sia sounds a bit like Rihanna. Ryan said that the top 5 was like looking at a globe with Canada,
Australia, the UK, and Norway all represented. He also now says shazam every week. At the beginning he mentioned
that the first 2 new entries skipped the breakout spot and jumped right on to the countdown.
An interview with Rita Ora was a bit tense when they talked about her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, and how
he didn't give permission for her to perform the song on the Teen Choice Awards.
