Why do I start what I can't finish?

I mean, I like it enough, but this fits on Alt even less than Habits did, and that's hard to top. The chorus sounds like something Selena Gomez would do, and the verses give off a very "Boom Clap" feel. This fits right in place with the Pop landscape of today, and no one can say anything else. And yeah, the stations that play songs 80 times a week need to be eradicated. At least unlike "Habits", this is actually tolerable. Habits is the worst song on the album.

At least unlike "Habits", this is actually tolerable. Habits is the worst song on the album. Yeah, her breakthrough hit is worse than the Selena Gomez song that is "Not on Drugs" or the nonsensical embarrassment that is "Like em Young." I know it's "cool" to hate on the big hit, but at least be reasonable with the hatred. As for this one, Tove Lo Tweeted today that she's shooting the video for "Talking Body," so I'm not sure if that signals a change for the overall promo plan. I sure hope it does -- you have the best chorus on the album (would be her best song if not for that cringeworthy baby-making bodies bridge) versus...this. You go with Talking Body.

I hated Habits before it was a hit. Yeah, ok this sounds like a Selena Gomez, but it's a lot better. Like Em Young is also bad, but not as bad as this.

I disagree completely Habits is one of the strongest of the records.

"Talking Body" is the next international single. They're making the right decision going with this over that for now. "Talking Body" has sort of a similar sound to "Habits", whereas this is a lot different.

I always prefered this to "Habits" (Stay High)".

Well, I finally heard this. It's not as horrid as "Habits" was, heck, it's actually tolerable, but I'm still not a fan.
That said, I can't see this doing much on Alternative.

Here is where I jump on the train and say that this type of Indie sounds more apt for Mainstream Pop than Alt, because it sounds like something I would here playing at a dance club. I donot care for this song.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon performance (This was performed sometime last week, not sure why the late upload today...):

seeing her perform with a band gives the song a more credible sound. The vevo version on youtube sounds more "popped up". This performance makes the song more alt rock chart worthy.

I'm really liking this song. I tend not to care for dubstep, especially when it comes across as a last-minute afterthought, but it works really well here, as it further emphasizes the emotion that's already being conveyed by her voice.
I hear a cross between Lykke Li and Lady Gaga in her voice in the chorus.

That Lady Gaga comment: weather it was meant as a positive one or not, didn't help me at all, since I'm still on the fence weather I like this song or not

That Lady Gaga comment: weather it was meant as a positive one or not, didn't help me at all, since I'm still on the fence weather I like this song or not I like all but a few of Lady Gaga's songs and think she has a good voice, so it certainly wasn't intended to be a negative comment. It was intended to be a neutral, matter-of-fact comparison more than anything.

Please don't compare Tove Lo to Lady Gaga.

I listed Lady Gaga's voice as one of the ones that I'm reminded of by parts of what Tove Lo does with her voice in the chorus of this one song. It was not a comparison between the artists themselves, nor between the kind of music they make.

I honestly expect this to get into the Top 40 and then get stuck there like pretty much every other follow-up single to a female fronted Top 10 hit that isn't Lorde(Phantogram, CHVRCHES, MS MR, Broods etc.)

Not Tove Lo.

So did this actually go for adds or did it get pulled since "Talking Body" replaced this as the next pop single?
