New single due out on Monday on iTunes. Sounds like it could be from a new project; and with a Sia feature, it's most likely going to be pushed to CHR/Pop.

So basically I'd like these two to slay at the same time!! Sia will probably slay her part and I'm also here for Eminem

Why did they sit on "Beautiful Pain" is one of the biggest mysteries of his last album cycle.

I don't think this is going to be pushed to Pop to be honest. But maybe it could since they haven't done anything for MMLP2.

I really didn't care for "Beautiful Pain", but I love both artists, so hopefully this one is really good.

Beautiful Pain should have been released, that would have been a huge hit for them IMO. But I'm excited to hear the full version of this, the snippet in the trailer sounded promising. I love hearing Eminem on the radio, so I hope this does get pushed to Pop. It will probably sell really well on iTunes come Monday.

I wonder if he has writing credits on it, which I suppose he does. Will that be an epic second Academy Award nomination? Hope the track is a killer.

Does he ever release a single without a "featured artist?" For all his success, I would like to see how a 42 year old guy would fair on the pop charts without help from a current "it" artist of the moment.

A local CHR station in his hometown of Detroit has revealed that he might be announcing an upcoming album for release in late December 2014 very soon. Last night, on his tour with Rihanna, he wore a never before seen shirt that read "SHADYXV" which they are saying is the new album title and this will also serve as a single from that beyond just the soundtrack.

WE MADE YOU #23 BEAUTIFUL #36 NOT AFRAID #15 BERZERK #18 Also, he does not care about radio play. He has something better: dedicated fans who buy his album(s).

Lose Yourself and The Real Slim Shady are both his signature singles without any feature artists. Without Me, Just Lose it, Cleanin' Out My Closet are all quite successful without feature artists.

Man if only Lose Yourself wasn't one of the best selling singles of all time and spent 7 weeks at #1 on CHR huh

Yes, but that was long long time ago. Lately he only get pop hits if he has a featured artist. I thought rappers were inmune to ageism on radio

Eminem is someone who could pull a BeyoncΓ© I think. He has the type of dedicated fanbase that will give him big numbers out the gate no matter what.

It's a really weird collaboration, but hey, it's not even the first time Eminem and Dido sounded weird on paper too.

He's still in his early 40s, and male, but the showing of his non-feature tracks in recent times isn't the most promising. He's been around for 15 years now, too.
As said, though, he's a big album seller, so he has that on his side.

I think in the case of rappers has more to do with a change in pop reception than with their age. Lately rap song with a singing chorus have more acceptance on pop radio than totally rap songs, and with some exceptions (it's obvious that Drake can sing, at least with autotune) most of them only rap in their solo songs I think Madonna's problem is different, ageism on pop is evident and even more in women, and of course there's the fact that Madonna seems totally lost lately, she used to be a leader and now she is a follower

Eminem is someone who could pull a BeyoncΓ© I think. He has the type of dedicated fanbase that will give him big numbers out the gate no matter what. There was a recent article on billboard about the ones who could pull a Beyonce (and being successful, of course). They were based on recent success, if my memory doesn't fail they mention Bieber, Eminem, Taylor Swift, Adele and Gaga. Of the five in my opinion only Eminem could really do it. Adele and Swift have absolutely no reason to do it, they are big on physical sales and there's no reason to change the marketing. Gaga and Bieber were big on recent years but their next album is simply too important for their careers to take such risk, in fact the reaction to their next albums probably will depend of a strong first single. On the other hand Eminem has nothing to prove, but given his strong first week sales with every album (even when he is not the flavour of the month) i think he could do it. But frankly i doubt he will be really interested in that kind of experiment.

I think it'd be tacky now anyway if someone does try to pull a beyonce, its been done, thats it - it worked coz it was a bit of a shock as it hadnt been done before, but if others do it now its obvious to get poeple talking.

Hmm; this is the first result when I search "shadyxv;" it's a 404 page but hints there's something privately published there: www.eminem.com/shady-xvETA: Never mind; guess that was already known and screencapped. lol ETA 2: This basically confirms a Black Friday album release.

The concept of ageism in regards to pop radio is false anyway. Eminem or anyone from his period of earlier requiring featured artists to get hits speaks nothing about his abilities as an artist but about the changing audience. 'Ageism' is another annoying overused term on Pulse.

Yes. His album comes out at the end of November. This is the lead single for it.
