Recently I've seen some people talking about this and than I read this 'Although it was originally presented to the artist alone, the award is now presented to the main artist, the featured artist(s), the producer, the engineer and/or mixer and the mastering engineer.'
So does this mean that Blue Ivy will get a grammy award if Beyonce wins AOTY? Do you guys think she deserves a grammy award if she gets one by the rules?

By the rules yes, she would get a Grammy. Now officially rooting for this to happen lol. Don't really see what would be so unfair about it, unless you're just against the idea of featured artists in general receiving awards for other people's albums. That's a reasonable argument,it just doesn't make sense to single out blue for it.

I'm not against it at all :) actually I can already imagine all those funny meme and stuff with Blue Ivy and Katy Perry if Blue gets one and Katy Perry loses all of her nominations once again.

Ugh Beyoncé shouldn't even be nominated. But she's bound to be so I'm left with relishing in her losses.

Yikes...I guess that's strike two for me Lahey's Lucky Star. Sorry but this album is just not resonating with me. And I'm usually a member of the Beyhive. But this album has not impressed me (musically). I probably like maybe 5 songs total - not good. I'm ready for the next album - post-break-up with Jay-Z - I can see good material already.

The more people who get Grammy's for this masterpiece, the better. This includes the Internet's cream of the crop that made the ensuing 48 hours so fucking fun.

I'm not a huge fan of featured artists getting the award.. I haven't been since Colbie Caillat shared AOTY for Taylor Swift's Fearless. Do most people even count those among an artist's awards totals, though? I rarely see that kind of win mentioned.
