This is good, better than "Get On Your Boots" was.

I'm always happy when they do more upbeat songs. The chart doesn't need any more snoozers.

Solid effort from them. U2 does best when they have something to prove.

This was the most shocking thing I saw today, even though they did say they were going to release this album unconventionally. Anyway here's the album art and tracklisting. 1. "The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)" 2. "Every Breaking Wave" 3. "California (There Is No End to Love)" 4. "Song for Someone" 5. "Iris (Hold Me Close)" 6. "Volcano" 7. "Raised by Wolves" 8. "Cedarwood Road" 9. "Sleep Like a Baby Tonight" 10. "This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now" 11. "The Troubles" (featuring Lykke Li) I see "Invisible" and "Ordinary Love" are nowhere to be seen on the album.

Ordinary Love was created specifically for a soundtrack and was already officially released on it. Invisible was exclusively for the RED Campaign and was dropped from the album over 5 months ago.

Awsome song!! has all the classic U2 qualities but at the same time with a 2014 modern alt rock sound too. Any song about Joey Ramone has gotta be great! I hope vinyl comes back and especially the 45 singles.

Maybe they could release Volcano and/or Sleep Like a Baby Tonight as potential future radio songs. They're suffering backlash because iTunes and iPhone users don't know that hiding alone makes the whole thing avoidable, hahaha. The way people nag, you would think the record had a charged price.

Surprisingly, the song this reminds me the most of is Switchfoot's "The Sound (John M. Perkins' Blues)

This is great. Probably my favorite single since "City of Blinding Lights." Much better than I expected for sure.

There's something about the album I can't warm to. I prefer the less Bono'ey albums and this album feel like Bono in full pretentious mode.

I tried to listen to this song on iTunes and somehow it downloaded the entire album to my phone. Not bad thus far.

Well they shoved this album into everyone's iPhone so I'd say it's kind of a known song now.

This definitely is no Get Off Your Boots which rocketed up to #6 in a week.

This definitely is no Get Off Your Boots which rocketed up to #6 in a week. And fell off instantly after peaking and only spent 8 weeks on. It's your dream chart run.

I've been listening to U2 since the early 80s and have and like a LOT of their stuff. Unfortunately this song does NOTHING for me. I don't think I've ever been this indifferent to a first single of theirs. It made me feel nothing. I have the album on my iTunes, but haven't listened to it yet. I hope I find some tracks I love.

I feel like "Every Breaking Wave" would have been a better single choice heading into winter.

finally heard this for the first time on the radio (hadn't bothered to go listen myself since I wasn't too excited and figured I'd hear it eventually). It's kinda bland, Ordinary Love was better. Nothing about the song grabs me. Sounds like it could be elevator music, not unpleasant but completely forgettable.

Both "Ordinary Love" and "Invisible" were better than anything on this album.
