Here's this week's chart.

And as a follow-up to what I mentioned last week, CBS and NFL Network are pulling the Rihanna intro from their Thursday Night Football broadcasts for good after Rihanna blasted the networks (CBS specifically) on Twitter for removing her song last week only to bring it back this week.

Rihanna may be one of the top singers in the business right now but she just doesn't seem to get it. Now, on with the countdown.

I thought GRL would fall off the chart this week.

Every single song on the chart is moving this week with the exception of "Stay With Me" and "Boom Clap" in the Top 2. Wow. The one thing I'm kinda irked about is that "Chandelier" is at #13, and at this time, it's starting to lose airplay. Should've been at #11.

Agreed. As I mentioned last week, it never made the Mediabase top 40, so I figured it had "one week wonder" written all over it.

Bad distribution of the Extras, this week. Not liking the pile-up at the bottom of the third hour.

Ryan mentioned that this was the first time since 1996 that two solo British acts have occupied the Top 2.

I don't have my charts handy, but I'm guessing that one of them was Donna Lewis, since her song was #1 for 12 weeks. Can't think of any other U.K. acts to hit #1 that year.

For three weeks in September of that year, Lewis was #1 and Eric Clapton's "Change The World" was at #2.

This is a week where I listened to the show from last week again. (It's just easier not to have to edit out commercials, and get up as early.)I'd rather hear a few more new songs, than see a lot of position changes.

Mostly Canadian, it would seem, as I check my list of number ones. 1996 was a good year for Canada. Celine Dion spent 7 weeks on top with "Because You Loved Me" and Alanis Morissette spent, a combined, 14 weeks at #1 with "Ironic", "You Learn", and "Head Over Feet"...but I'm getting off topic.
