Released in March of 1997 in the US, featured two US singles "Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit" (Hot 100 No. 12, Dance No. 4) and "Gimme Some Love" (Hot 100 No. 46, Dance No. 18) 01) Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit (Motiv8 Radio Edit) 02) Fresh! 03) Ti Amo 04) Every Time I Fall 05) Follow The Light 06) Gimme Some Love 07) Rhythm Of My Life 08) Missin' You Like Crazy 09) I Belong To You (Radio Edit) 10) Higher Than Love 11) It Doesn't Mean Goodbye 12) Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit (Motiv8 Vintage Honey Mix) I'm re-discovering Gina G and this album, I was completely obsessed with Ooh Aah back in the day, I used to play the maxi single (along with all the boring, almost vocalless remixes!) non stop. I actually didn't pick up her album until several years later, but it's completely filled with Europop amazement. My personal favorites are Fresh! (I love that in the midst of all the dance-pop songs, she delivered a truly great pop record), Gimme Some Love, Follow The Light, I Belong To You, and Rhythm Of My Life. The ballads are pretty throwaway, but she sure does shine when in her lane. And that album cover! LOVE! Really unfortunate we never got a follow up album.

Love this album. I think I wore out my copy back in the day. The U.S. singles as well as Every Time I Fall, Missin' You Like Crazy & I Belong to You were my faves.
The only thing I hated about the album was the cover (Not sure who had a worse cover, her or Amber.)

The only thing I hated about the album was the cover (Not sure who had a worse cover, her or Amber.) When the album first came out I remember seeing it at Target and thinking "WTF.." I was kinda freaked out by it. But for some reason now I really love it. It's such an odd, avant-garde cover for a dance pop album.

Her. Amber's covers weren't such 90s cheese.

I didn't check out the album until a number of years after it came out, but I did end up loving it. It has some great songs. I love "Ooh Ahh" too, but I really adore "Ti Amo" with that soft Ace Of Base sound along with "Gimme Some Love" and "I Belong To You."
Gina's later material was pretty good too. She did a track with Thunderpuss which remained unreleased for many years called "Stuck On You".

I'll always have a soft spot for this album. A really fun slice of Europop and cheese. It leans very Minogue-sisters, "Follow The Light," "Gimme Some Love," "Ti Amo," "Fresh," "Rhythm Of My Life," "Higher Than Love" and "IDMG" are my favs. This also had a lot of good remixes that took the songs into more serious directions. It's getting a deluxe remaster/reissue from Cherry Red in May. It's missing a lot of mixes tbh, but it's cool that they put quite a few promo/vinyl only mixes on it.
