What songs did you like for the very first time that you never heard before after the first couple of seconds or minute without finishing it to judge. Maybe it's a melody, beat or a chorus from the start that immediately grabbed you right away.
For me these are my picks:
Michael Jackson - Beat It Laura Branigan - Self Control 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite Lenny Kravitz - Again Haddaway - What is Love Darude - Sandstorm Robert Miles - Children Jan Hammer - Miami Vice Theme Eric Prydz - Pjanoo Don Henley - Boys Of Summer Jam & Spoon - Right in The Night Real McCoy - Another Night & Runaway 2 Pac - Changes Coolio - Gangsta Paradise Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence Exposé - Point Of No Return Prince - When Doves Cry Bananarama - Cruel Summer Natalie Imbruglia - Torn Groove Theory - Tell Me Pat Benatar - Love Is A Battlefield Mariah Carey - Fantasy Ace of Base - The Sign The Heights - How Do You Talk To An Angel Bryan Adams - Summer of '69 Van Halen - Jump Queen - Princes Of The Universe Jennifer Paige - Crush Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone Berlin - Take My Breath Away Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F Coldplay - Clocks Enigma - Sadness Part I Enya - Only Time The Fray - How To Save A Life Snap! - Rhythm As A Dancer Orbital - Halcyon + On + On Gnarls Barkley - Crazy Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous
...too many to list but these are my picks from the top of my head.

"Everybody Hurts," Avril Lavigne "Save Tonight," Eagle Eye Cherry
Those two come to mind, and they have very similar openings.

Ooh, I'm sure there have been many, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
More often, I think, I like a song in the first few second but then turn out hating it after I hear the chorus, or vice versa.

Holy cow this happens to me a lot. Too often. Here goes.
Didn't know the artist at first: Delta Goodrem - "In This Life" (probably the best example of this actually. I was obsessed from the second the song started. It introduced me to Delta). Savage Garden - "Crash And Burn" (I was already a SG stan, but I wasn't paying attention the first time I heard the song, so I didn't know it was them until the vocals started). Jeremy Camp - "There Will Be A Day" (The song that made me a Jeremy Camp super fan. The guitar and melody right off the bat had me, then I was hooked with his voice from the first note). Mary Lambert - "Heart On My Sleeve" (I thought I hated her, then I heard the first bit of this song and gave her a chance. Turns out I really love her music). The Verve - "Biggersweet Symphony" for KING & COUNTRY - "The Proof of Your Love" (the violins got me instantly). Toadies - "Possum Kingdom" Anastacia - "Left Outside Alone" Matthew West - "My Own Little World" Third Eye Blind - "Semi-Charmed Life" (Seriously, most infectious melody ever). U2 - "Mysterious Ways" Natalie Imbruglia - "Torn"
Knew the artist first: Darren Hayes - "Random Blinking Light" (The most delicious piano melody on the face of this earth). Darren Hayes - "A Conversation With God" (You instantly have this weird feeling of calmness and uneasiness all at once the moment it starts). Darren Hayes - "Who Would Have Thought?" (One of my favorite intros to a song ever. I was instantly in love). Delta Goodrem - "Innocent Eyes" (first song off of the album I connected with the second it came on). Delta Goodrem - "Silence Be Heard" (The vocals right off the bat and haunting music is captivating from the instant it comes on). Delta Goodrem - "Waiting For Forever" (I knew the moment the piano melody started that it was going to be a favorite and it only grew the more I listened). Savage Garden - "To The Moon And Back" (The outer space sounds are too intriguing and they lead to perfection, so). Savage Garden - "Carry On Dancing" Jeremy Camp - "Let It Fade" (it was the simple acoustic guitar chords mixed with the almost instant flawless vocals and lyrics that just hit me instantly). Jeremy Camp - "He Knows" (This was recent, but the piano got me and Jeremy has a way of capturing your attention from the first second). Jeremy Camp - "Reckless" (Somehow it sounds super intense from just that beginning piano bit and then the whole song just rocks out). Jeremy Camp - "You Are The Lord" (The piano. The melody). Jeremy Camp - "The Way" (The dang piano). Jonny Diaz - "Use Me Too" Jonny Diaz - "Starts With Love" (The beginning I later found out is the bridge of the song, which ended up being my favorite part after I heard the whole song). Newsboys - "Disaster" (It just sounds super intense and like it's building up to something great, which it is). Big Time Rush - "Cruise Control" (Because the very beginning is the chorus and it's wonderful). Natalie Imbruglia - "Don't You Think" (The way it builds is intense and I love it). Natalie Imbruglia - "All The Roses" (It has this wonderful haunting sound to it). Shannon Noll - "In Pieces" (It's the guitar and melody completely). Kris Allen - "Written All Over My Face" (I ADORED the guitar in the beginning the instant I heard it). Kris Allen - "Monster" (The spooky lullaby music that starts the song out is wonderful and instantly intriguing). Kris Allen - "My Weakness" (It instantly sounds carefree and fun and I love it). Ellie Goulding - "Your Biggest Mistake" (I listened to this while previewing the album after I bought it and it was instantly my favorite). Stevie Jo - "The Moon" (definitely the melody). Stevie Jo - "Gravity" (the melody + guitar).

So many songs in my head, but I'd say "Some Nights" by fun. and "Welcome to the Black Parade" by MCR. I regard both as this generation's Bohemian Rhapsody, but just 1/100 as good as BR.

That is generally how it goes for me. I usually know if I like a song within the first minute. There are songs that take repeated listenings before I decide I like it (Shake It Off took me awhile), but that isn't the norm.

At the top of my head: "Crazy In Love". The first few seconds of that song did it for me the first time I heard it. Special thanks to Chi-lites.

This is sort of random, but I am sure a lot of songs would qualify here for me, but only one stands out. When Hung Up (Madonna) first came out we only had maybe a minute long clip or slightly less? Madonna fans went crazy over it and we ended up voting it onto the Pulse? (or were we on the previous board, crap this was a long time ago) top 100 and other board members were mad because they said there is NO WAY to judge or like a song without ever hearing it in full. But, I loved Hung Up when we had less than a minute of it and loved it just the same when the full song came out My God, why did I post something so long for a random question.
