At least the song has some interesting production (sounds like a Jason Aldean song in that regard), but lyrically I can't see this getting her anywhere. Oops, I just go to the part where she raps. Maybe it does stand a chance.

She said this song was like "She's Country" by Jason Aldean cuz she wanted people to know who she is, the whole song is about her. She said that on the link a posted. :)

Honestly, if she's ever gonna make it big, she will need a song like this to break her out. I thought this was really good, kind of had the edge that "Any Man of Mine" from Shania had. I wish more females would record upbeat songs like this.

I like this more than I wanna admit. It's pretty catchy and even though it's rather rock-ish, I kinda like the production. Not surprised to see Bridgette Tatum wrote this, because it does sound a lot like something from her arsenal (and she's basically like Jason Aldean in female form).
At the end of the day though, I don't see this doing much and I don't think KLC will ever really have a hit. And that's okay with me because in a sea of talented female country artists trying to breakthrough, she's near the bottom of my list. I never liked her on American Idol -- seriously, she was like the joke contestant during her season with bad performance after bad performance and continuing to skate by despite being in the Bottom 2/3 a million times -- and always felt her voice was totally uninteresting.

Glad to see her get another shot. How many labels would've stuck with her after her first deal and nothing on the other two singles with the second label? Not many other than BBR.

Her cover of "Anyway" by Martina McBride was the only one she sang during her run that was halfway decent. But then there's this which is one of the worst performances ever in the history of the live shows: Even Paula struggled to find positive comments, lmao. She was incredibly basic in terms of looks, voice, and personality, and I still don't know how she continued to make it as far as she did, and I'm even more surprised now that she's even still around at all with a record deal.

^Mariah Carey's Forever was her best performance and she got eliminated the same week. :(
I love this! She is gorgeous as well, hope this will have a video. She deserves a break.

I never thought she was a dynamic vocalist and was surprised to stumble across a new single from her over the weekend. It's kinda catchy but her voice is just so vanilla that I doubt she'll ever achieve any kind of mainstream success. Good luck to her though.

For some reason, country radio is just not that enthusiastic about Kristy's output with BBR. "Airborne Ranger Infantry" and "Wherever Love Goes" did next to nothing on the charts and "Looking For A Cowgirl" has had single digit adds its first two weeks out. I just cannot vision Kristy sticking with the label too much longer since radio has basically given her the cold shoulder since she came out with "Airborne Ranger Infantry" in 2012.
I will say that BBR has been more patient than other labels in regards to sticking with an artist (see James Wesley), but this is just not going too well.

This song is finished as its lost 23 spins and about 80k in audience this week, though when your audience is only 360k or so, 80k and 23 spins is a major decrease. It reached the top 70 on MB.
Kristy is just not making it at country radio for whatever reason(s). I really don't think BBR (even though they keep their artists more than most labels) will keep her on the roster much longer.
