Not a huge fan of this, but I don't mind it. It's missing something for me. Seems it will be big anyway tho. Just happy to not hear "Blank Space" anymore. lol

My god:
Stalker Sarah via Twitter Wow my night keeps getting more interesting..now Harry Styles & Taylor Swift in a hotel lobby talking to each other, then left out the back.
Could this be Harry and Taylor in Style music video? I'm gonna die if it's true No one could represent the meaning of the song better than both of them

I can't at this being top 30 a month before its official adds date. The true queen of Pop. :'(
What I love about this is that it kind of slows things down. The chorus may be addictive and explosive but the song as it is is pretty mid-tempo. Shows variety and gains her even more new fans. In a way, it kind of reminds me of Ariana Grande's Love Me Harder, which definitely aims at a more uptempo 4th single.
Most perfect era y/y?

Who woulda thought that Taylor Swift would be the next pop queen? She can do no wrong at this point tbh I won't doubt her anymore. People doubt her talent all the time but someone who wrote Safe and sound has talent for a long long career (today that her friend Lorde was snubbed and oscar nomination i still remember how angry made me when they didn't chose Safe and sound, the best song on a movie that year). She played with all the things the people say about her in her songs, but at the same time she changed her ways in the dates department (i always thought that pr relationships would hurt her in the long run, but she is smart enough to stop doing it and proclaim how happy she is being single and asking the press to stop her linking her with any of her friends). The whole promo of this era is pure perfection, she was able to break some stereotypes about her. In the Voice she was able to come as funny and being relatable and giving good advices to the contestants all at the same time. But for me the thing that made me believe that she is the real deal is the fact that after being criticied for her bad performance (i think it was at the VMAs) she obviously took that seriously and took some singing classes. Not everybody is Adele or Mariah, but there's no reason to not give the best performance you can give, and he live singing improved a lot in recent years (others keep singing out of tune and with pitch problems, it's true that generally that doesn't affect their popularity). And she was able to do the whole pop transition without racy pics or videos, just being another version of herself. One can like her or not (and if you don't like her i pity you because she is everywhere) but she is one of the smartest people in the industry. I suppose the release of the video will be soon. Blank Space peaked and even the way down will be very long (the song is still selling a lot and with massive airplay) in a few weeks it will be perfect time to attack the top of the charts again (she could get three songs in the top 20 without a problem)

Word jjose. She might have a 6+ single album deal on her hands with 1989. Something that we don't get to witness that often. This is probably her own 'Teenage Dream' era in progress

I'd say to a lesser extent, it's her "21" Era. Obviously I don't see it going diamond, or selling 30 mil worldwide, but Adele had 3 Hot 100 #1s, tons of week atop the BB200, and unbelievable album sales.
Katy Perry only had a strong singles era.

Also probable. But unlike Adele with '21', I'm sure Taylor is about to give us some re-release action of 1989, especially at the rate she's putting out singles right now.

Oh, I think Taylor can keep this going for as long as she wants. If the videos really hit the target, there's no stopping her at this point.

I mean, I wouldn't doubt that, but re-releases aren't what they used to be. Unless she actively promotes a new song from it and sends it to radio, it'll move no more than 500k extra copies. Fearless Platinum didn't do much for Fearless. Hopefully this era doesn't start to die the minute the tour kicks off, that's what it usually happens.

Whenever this song comes on I never realize it's her until I hear the word "Style" in the chorus.

I want to see the label just keep pushing singles from this. There are so many other incredible choices. She should EASILY get 5 songs before any thoughts of a re-release. She could easily do 6 singles as well.

'Bad Blood', 'All You Had To Do Was Stay', 'Out Of The Woods', and 'Wildest Dreams' all sound like singles to me. I think people could make an argument for HYGTG, WTNY, IWYW, and IKP too. Hell, even 'Clean' to an extent.

Weird question that I hope someone can answer:
There's a song in the movie "Wild", when she gets in the farmer's car at night; as soon as he starts driving I swear something extremely similar to the first few chords of Style played. Obviously it wasn't this song, but I'd love to figure it out because it would be great to know what Style was kind of derived from, sonically.

At this rate, is there a way this could reach top 15 on Pop by the end of next week?
That would be insane.

I barely read the twitter comment about Harry and her being in a lobby together.
Hell, if Harry is In the video, just give this girl the crown already. That would hit #1 so quickly...

Also, the album WILL surely pass 4 million copies sold in the US next week. The first album to cross the mark since........ RED.
Hopefully, Style will encourage more people to buy the album.

She ignored him and didn't even acknowledge his presence so I doubt she'd be asking for a video cameo lol. But I thought they were in good terms? They've been spotted speaking/interacting before at parties and social events, plus based on reports from people who went to the 1989 listening sessions, she spoke pretty fondly of her relationship with him so I was a little surprised she didn't say hi. But I guess it's always awkward running into your ex. The video for this has allegedly been shot already, but if they're smart...a Harry Styles look a like would drive views through the roof.

She goes through singles so fast :O. This and out of the woods are my favorites on the album. I hope out of the woods will be a single too.
