I've had this on repeat all day, it's sooo good. Def my favorite single of theirs it sounds ~iconic and timeless.

I can promise you, there is nothing bubblegum pop about this album. You need to check your sources Te source was billboard review, and frankly i heard some of the songs they released, and yes, there are bubblegum pop on the album. After a bunch of listenings the song is really pleasant but given how radio is reacting to this (not exactly skyrocketing) and sales are going down, i think they will need to do a good promo of the song (with the release of the album this should be granted), and release a good video, something well done and with a meaning. I think this could be a grower and work well for them (i could give them their third top 10 on pop)

I don't get what you're talking about. It's folksy, not bubblegum.
And if SMG can make top 20 and maintain decent sales on iTunes, and the album opening with 400 k, I see no reason to doubt that this will do well at all, especially with the positive reception of the new album and this song.

Quite shocked by the Pulse lovefest for this one. Lyrics are so drippy I want to cringe. As for the song itself, it's pleasant but certainly lacks the infectious pop hook that "Story Of My Life" had. This reminds me of boring soft alt-pop from the "let me put this lyric on my AIM profile!" era a la "Here's To The Night" by Eve 6. I don't hate it, but I'll pass. This is how I feel. All of their music sounds the same to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The video came off as awkward... this is definitely their weakest era in videos so far... I hope this trend doesn't continue.
The song is great though!!!

Another nice slow song from 1D only completely ruined by the jarring interruption from louis.

(This was my complaint with Passenger too) His vocals have improved, but even then he has a LOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go before I will be a fan of him, easily the weakest vocalist in One Direction.

Well, i didn't dislike the video, it could be way better, but it's quite funny. AS expected it had a bad update today, but tomorrow will start to climb again. With the promo it'll start to climb on itunes soon.
I don't know if it'll peak higher than usual but i expect a longer chart run (of course i expected the same of Little things and i was wrong)

I don't see why so many people dislike is voice. Louis isn't the only nasal/whiny voice in the industry. Hunter Hayes is big time too. Even legends like Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Dwight Yoakum, etc are just a few. It's just the kind of voice some singers have and I think Louis' version of this kind of voice is very pleasant. I grew up listening to mostly classic Country so I'm used to it and have always enjoyed it.

The album is terrible and nothing stands out but this is the best option for a single. It's a good one. I thought the video was cute.

Meh... he's okay in some songs, and I tolerate him most of the time, but other times he gets a solo and completely butchers it, I've heard him live and it wasn't necessarily redeeming either. Hunter Hayes has power behind his nasally voice, it's much more pleasant and he has learned how to work with it, same with the others... Louis... hasn't, and it's not THAT big of an issue for me, it doesn't ruin the song or anything for me, but I would never say I'm a fan of his voice.

Yeah I've seen him and 1D of course too sing live 4 times and will again next Summer. I never noticed anything off, but that's just me. I personally enjoy his solos on the albums, especially the new one. But to each his own.

It's a cute song but pretty forgettable. Better than their first single tho, I suppose.

This is quite easily my favorite single of theirs. Then again, I always prefer their slower singles.

I like the melody, it's a pleasant song. I get the concept of the music video, but it was a bit awkward. It really only got entertaining towards the end when everything started to go wrong on the dates.
I liked the song when I first heard it on the AMA's, but I prefer the studio. I'm not much of a fan of 1D or their live vocals. I think Louis and Niall are definitely the weakest, so the second verse of this song suffers from them singing lead. Harry's voice is too bland and heavy for me, especially live. I think Zayn and Liam are definitely the two strongest members vocally.

I think this is my favorite single they've ever released. This happens to me for every new 1D era, but I really, really love this one. The music video was an interesting concept as well that I enjoyed. I wish it were performing a little better -- hope radio gets more on board with this because I'd love to see this be another "Story of My Life" for them.
And this is my mom's favorite 1D song, lol.

I think they are going to need some promo if they want this to get further of the usual OD top 20 hit. It's not selling bad and it's a pleasant song but i think it's going to need some push. Anyway in january everything will be clearer

The whole album is fantastic! This single is now my second favorite right behind "SOML"
This song is just great, and my older sister and her kids sing this all the time in the car! It's infectious, it's subtle, and it's fantastic! I can't wait to see what is next for them! And this song deserves to go at least top 10 on Pop!
