This has a country feel to it too so it may just bring back the country fans who felt sidelined by 1989 It got country airplay last March, and i believe when 1989 was released Country 210 86 SWIFT, TAYLOR Wildest Dreams 16 1 15 0.224 I have a feeling she'll return to country some day, but her Pop stuff is just as good as her country stuff too. In the video I could see Calvin being the leading man

This is a great song, but it doesn't sound like a #1 to me. Actually, I'm going to make the claim that Taylor doesn't have a #1 left on the album. Please don't burn me at the stake.

YES! Just what I hoped for! Hopefully New Romantics will be the single after this to close out the era!

Pop #1 or Hot 100 #1? The latter will be difficult, as her singles are doubtfully going to be able to generate big sales totals at this point in the run. The former should be very possible, as radio hasn't shown the slightest hint of disinterest in Taylor -- and there are at least 4 super-catchy pop singles left on this album. If she doesn't score another pop #1 this era, it would only be because she and/or Republic took the promotional foot off the gas.

This has CHR smash written all over it. Barring a major smash blocking it, it will be #1 easy. The hot 100 is definitely the hard one for any of the songs left. I like the aforementioned idea of premiering the video at the VMA's, and hype the ever loving hell out of it like they did with BB. The streaming route is their best bet for H100 #1.

I have to agree with you, honestly it's in my top 3 on her album but I just don't see it being catchy enough to get too #1, like the rest of her singles have. "I know Places" would have been better in my opinion

I just don't get the single love for this. It's a good song, very well written, and very comparable to Lana, but I can't imagine it being a pop hit. It's very slow and vocal driven. With a remix, we're talking a different story, but this is probably the most left field song on 1989. Nobody can say she plays it safe.

Loved this song since album release. Taylor could go 5 for 5 for top 10 Billboard singles with this. Big Machine is really pushing Taylor this era on pop compared to past eras. Just with the first week hype alone for the music video,It could debut top 5.

This is such an album-song. Not a wise choice for the next single. Will there be another? It's a shame New Romantics didn't make it.

It's coming 1 am: 408 on iTunes 3 pm: 188 on iTunes 4 pm: 173 on iTunes Can we just admire that all that happened was Taylor tweeting this was the next single and it's already moving up iTunes.

hopefully Out Of The Woods will be next for late fall-winter single. Can we please just let this dream die so we can move on to bigger and better things? Like 'Wonderland', 'New Romantics', or, in a perfect world, 'I Know Places'???

I Know Places would be kinda cool to see released, but I've always known that's not happening unless they're going like Shania Come on Over and releasing the whole album.

Taylor said somewhere that there will be more singles after WD, and all of them will have a proper video (since she'll pay them)

First Selena Gomez's Good for you, now this. I can't at the Lana impact! She needs to strike pop while her sound is hot!

Taylor Swift paying for her 1989 videos is laughable to say the least. I don't think her label or whoever is responsible for her videos is not getting some serious cash from her extraordinary sales. Perhaps she was the one who wanted to pay in the first place to make sure other artists on her label wouldn't get shitty budgets. #motherteresaofhergeneration :'(

I think that's partially the reason why she could do whatever she wants and don't really mind having to dug into her own pocket for some stuff since she got quite the share of her own sales.
