This can't possibly be more generic than "Save Me"...can it?

Probably one of my most hated bands, I can't stand anything by them. I'll give the song a chance, but I'm not optimistic about it.

Now that Austin is out; there is no point to this band.

Saving Abel and Hinder both lost their lead singers and then the SA singer sang with Hinder for a while didnt he ? Then the My Darkest Day's singer is singing with both MDD and Three Days Grace ?
FFS, my head hutts.

Hinder was great. I don't care what anyone thinks. "Lips of An Angel" was classic. The "Take It To Limit" album was the closest any American Rock band has sounded to the rock sound of the 80'and 90s. I stress American, cause thier are some great Swedish bands out there like Grand Design and Reckless Love who have perfected that sound, but Austin Winkler's vocals were a big part of the band's charisma. Their last album; Welcome To The Freakshow, strayed away from that 80's 90's glam rock style, but still had Austin on lead vocals, so a few trax were still salvagable. Without him; I fear ,the band's original style will be lost. If by some miracle; I'm proved wrong, and an even better vocalist is bourne within the band, then I'll still continue to be a fan, but at this point; I'm inclined to listen to Austin's new band, when and if it comes out.

Its an issue like Sick Puppies have now, they've removed the most interesting element of the band. Sometimes the music can be bigger than any one band member (even a lead singer) but with Hinder/Sick Puppies I don't think their songs are that unique.

the only version of the song I could find on youtube. As fan of the band; I found this extremely boring. :'(

Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed "Extreme Behavior". "How Long", "Better Than Me", "By the Way", and oddly my favorite; "Shoulda" were fantastic. Take It To The Limit to them to caricature territory and it was all downhill from there.

I have a couple of other songs from their other albums, but yeah that album was actually pretty decent.

Extreme Behavior: C Take It to the Limit: C+ All American Nightmare: F Freakshow: FFFFFFFF All American Nightmare's 2 singles are pretty decent, but the rest of the album is garbage, as is the entire Freakshow album...so yeah I agree there. Although I'd give Extreme Behaviour a B and Take It To The Limit an A-

Wait, you guys listen to whole Hinder albums? I listen to Theory of a Deadman's albums, so I guess I can't talk... They were my favorite band when I was 8. Right when Take It to the Limit came out. "Without You" was my favorite song of 2008. So... yeah, my childhood was embarassing. I thought they were the best band because they said words like "sex", "drink" and "pussy", so yeah...

Being they were one of my favourite bands off the 2000s era; it's time to rate Hinder singles. BTW, Extreme behavior had 8 singles. Not bad for a post hair/glam Metal band. I hated the tag :Post Grunge, for them, cuz they had nothing grunge about them whatsoever.
Extreme Behavior A
Get Stoned B+ Lips Of An Angel = A+(one of my top 3 songs of that year) How Long A Better Than Me B Home Comming Queen A Born To Be Wild B- Shoulda B+ By The Way B
Take It To The Limit A++(my Rock album of 2008-09)
Use Me A Without You A+ Up All Night B+ Loaded And Alone A The Best Is Yet To Come A+ Lat Kiss Goodbye A Heaven Sent A(not single, but channeled 80s Bon Jovi perfectly)
All American Nightmare B+
All American Nightmare A+ What Ya Gonna Do B+ The Life A- Red Tail Lights C+ Put That Record On A+(non single, but best lyrics) Everybody's Wrong B (Non Single)
Welcome To The Freakshow C(this had six singles off it) some material was salvagable for Austin's vocals alone
Save Me A- Ladies Come First D Is It Just Me C- Should Have Known Better A+ Talk To Me A- Freakshow C

I can safely say that I haven't heard half of those "singles" on the radio.
Extreme Behavior B+
Get Stoned B Lips Of An Angel B+ How Long A+ Better Than Me A Homecoming Queen A- Born To Be Wild B- Shoulda A+ By The Way A
Take It To The Limit B-
Use Me B Without You B- Up All Night B Loaded And Alone B The Best Is Yet To Come C Lat Kiss Goodbye C Heaven Sent C-
All American Nightmare N/A - I never actually fully listened to this album because I found the singles to be meh.
All American Nightmare C- What Ya Gonna Do B
Welcome To The Freakshow N/A - I didn't bother with this album either.
Save Me D

This actually isn't bad at all. There's no cock rock elements in it, so I can't find anything to complain about.

trying his best to sound like Austin. Reminds me of how much I still enjoyed Warrant's music even after Jani's passing. It's a good rock song with an even better chorus. I'm glad I was proven wrong about Hinder's new voice. 'nuff said.

2 into 1. He sounds like both Jared and Austin. Saving Hinder.
