Ok...so I shouldn't do that on a Friday night? Take some sage advice from Mr. Jackson and think before you drop your quarters. But...but it's Reba!

I don't know much, but I see country artists topping TouchTunes year-end stats. Then I saw it's related to jukeboxes. But jukeboxes are found in like dive bars and stuff like. It's not like a bunch of country fans are sitting at home going "Man, I need to hear some Reba!" and then proceed to stroll into their dining room and play "Back to God" from their in-house jukebox machine. I'm sure some people have them in their homes, but I guarantee that it has no effect on streaming numbers because the people putting on country music at their local hole-in-the-wall spot aren't doing it because that's their preferred method of listening to music. Vinyl is a little more likely to take away from streaming numbers, but I still think it has a pretty small impact because I think most of the people buying vinyl aren't doing so at the expense of streaming since they're not really all that interchangeable. I found a jukebox at multiple TGI Friday's. I usually look for the country artists that are not well known, to see if they have it. I have also seen them at dive bars.

Keith Urban's music does absolutely nothing for me. I've liked maybe a handful of his songs throughout his career and that's it. This! No doubt he's uber-talented but if I counted the songs I truly liked ,on one hand since Golden Road , I'd have fingers left over.

I have liked nearly all of his singles to date. Even the stuff he did in the Ranch holds up better than I thought it would. The only ones from him I don't like at all are "Kiss a Girl" (he is WAY too old for that song) and "Without You" (boring cliche fest that has no melody whatsoever). Even "Your Everything", "For You", and "Female" are only "eh" to me. What's more, my favorite single of his is "Once in a Lifetime", which I don't think I've seen anyone else defend.

What's more, my favorite single of his is "Once in a Lifetime", which I don't think I've seen anyone else defend. It fell middle of the pack in the Keith Urban rankdown, so it's not hated. The video of Steve Burton returning to General Hospital, which is a daytime soap opera, reminded me of one of the opening themes that was used for some other soap opera ( One Life to Live, I believe) and I finally got a correct guess out of bboat11 once I put up potential locations of the music video for this song... 22. Once in a LifetimeTotal Points: 525 Average Rank: 21.875 Standard Deviation: 9.6428 Placements:BlueShades874 - 3 bboat11 - 6 Cody Wants Out... - 9 raylatch98 - 11 Markus Meyer - 13 tim - 14 fearlessarrow - 14 gardyfan - 15 mamooshka - 17 austin - 21 jhomes87 - 21 sabre14 - 22 @anythingbutmine - 23 dub - 23 cerulean - 27 .indulgecountry - 27 Kentucky25 - 28 Az Paynter - 31 Leo ✔ - 32 Kanenrá:ke - 32 someguy - 33 castleoblivion26 - 34 rgreen0625 - 34 zaclord 🌈 - 35 Following: carriekins Did y'all do this song dirty? Well... BlueShades874 might say so since his loses another top 3 entry right after losing his #1, but I wouldn't. I will admit that this is more of a sonic change in comparison to his works from Golden Road and Be Here (which has been immune from elimination so far, but not for long...), but I think it works well for him since the album it came from ( love, pain, and the whole crazy thing) is phenomenal despite not having any #1 hits off of it. Mods, I swear I remember reading somewhere that this was used for opening credits for some soap opera, but I can't find it anywhere, even the world's most (un)reliable encyclopedia Wikipedia. Can someone help me out here?

Hmm well my biggest unpopular opinion is probably that I don't think Darius Rucker has a good voice, it's simply adequate. Having said that I like the majority of his songs.

DIerks Bentley is just okay. Some great songs some clunkers but not the artist everyone makes him out to be...though I still like the guy. Just my opinion

In a way, I also agree that he doesn't have the best voice. In fact, I think he sounded a little rough at times during his Hootie days (intonation wise). However, I think he's improved ever since.
Here's one of my own: LANco's "Greatest Love Story" has to be one of the most boring breakthrough singles I've ever heard. I found listening to that to be an absolute chore and I feel my forehead getting really warm by the amount of times I gave myself facepalms.

Co-sign to the "Greatest Love Story" is bland af opinion. It does virtually nothing for me and I'm surprised at how massive it was.

"Greatest Love Story" is awful and it's actually a really lame love story. Hardly the greatest lol.
I find LANco dreadful period actually.

Disclaimer: I like LBT. They are very talented. Great harmonies.
Unpopular Opinion(s): Tornado was their last great single and Better Man did nothing for me. Pearl Jam’s Better Man is leagues better.

Side rant: no country music award category frustrates me more than “duo or group”. There is no creativity in the awards and there seems to be a golden child for 5+ years before a new group is given the crown.
Frankly, I increasingly despise the award shows.

Once you're out you ain't coming back Them velvet ropes ain't got no slack If you want to hate on a Dierks song from that album, I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes is a great candidate, IMO. Probably his worst single (outside of "What The Hell Did I Just Release to Radio"). They should've gone with Life on the Run to close out Feel the Fire album.

I didn't like "Sideways" because it was very messily produced. I'm still not convinced that the opening even has a melody. Just random string-bashing on the banjo. I also hated the way the lyrics scanned to the melody ("dee JAY don't you play nothin' slow"). There were some okay lyrics overall, but the whole song was just a mess melodically and productionwise. IWMYCYE was just a watered-down "Come a Little Closer" with all the energy sucked out of it. "Am I the Only One" also seemed strangely lethargic for a supposed "party" song -- it just had no pulse to it at all. It felt like he was straining to sound "hip" and "energetic" and was utterly failing (so basically it was his "You Look Good" in that regard).

In concert, Am I The Only One is actually a bit less lethargic and somewhat fun. Up until Black, I thought the singles from Feel that Fire were his weakest in totality. Black changed all that.

"I'm a Survivor" is one of the most manipulative country songs ever.
"Humble and Kind" is overrated as all hell and full of trite aphorisms. "Bitterness keeps you from flying" huh? What does eating a root beer popsicle have to do with being humble and kind?
BK should sing on more Florida Georgia Line songs.
Nothing with David Lee Murphy's name on it has ever been bad.
Horn sections are always a good thing.

Thought of another one:
I don't get the hatred for "Buy Me a Boat" or "Fix a Drink". They don't seem any worse than any other similar novelty songs. And it's not like Janson hasn't done novelties before. Those songs don't seem any different from "Better I Don't".

I'm a hardcore traditional and real country music fan but i do not like Chris Stapleton's music and idk why. I feel like he's overrated but if he can help bring country back then kudos.
I absolutely hate "Wagon Wheel" regardless of who sings it. To me it's just a bunch of rambling nonsense.

I don't know if this is actually an unpopular opinion, but I hate the cover of Lauren Alaina's Road Less Traveled album. The single covers are great and I think Lauren is super gorgeous, but I do not like her look on that album cover, at all.
