I think this album deserved to do so much better. :(

This only peaked at No. 30 in the UK, I was expecting it to hit top 10. Why did this flop so bad? I figured it was do something given the collaborators. I've been ignoring this because of Hilary and Carly's albums, finally started listening again tonight.

I can't speak for WW performance, but in the US I feel like the promotion for this was almost nonexistent; I don't think either single was sent to pop radio and nothing was done for the album the week it was released. The album is great and the choice of collaborative partners was pretty much flawless, but that alone isn't going to make people aware of it. If I didn't check Pulse, I don't think I would have ever heard of this album. The only people really checking for this were old heads (and super-duper music nerds) who know Giorgio's resume, and Britney fans (who were only checking for new Britney music, so they probably just grabbed "Tom's Diner" and ignored the rest).

Yeah there was either a point where RCA changed course and abandoned this, or they never wanted to in the first place. I'm leaning toward the former, because otherwise they wouldn't have lines up so many heavy hitters to feature.
I wonder what project they diverted resources too, though...

RCA has seemingly taken a nap on every release they've had in 2015, which is unusually off even for them...so unless they're trying to squirrel away funds for some big 4th quarter project, I have no idea what is going on over there. (I suspect they bit off more than they could chew when they created their urban division and then absorbed three other labels' rosters for it.)

Let's hope they are saving for the resurrection of Xtina!

"Tom's Diner" needed a push about 2 months ago... this is so wrong.

This album is great. I don't know why the label didn't put effort into it.

He said 3rd single in September. I'm pulling for TD, but I'm not holding my breath.
