Ouch, 4 adds is way worse than I was hoping for. At this point, I would like to see it at least chart, which will be difficult to do in this climate.

This appeared in the New and Active section of the Billboard Airplay chart tonight (I can't remember if it's been there before or not). With under 400K, it's unlikely to chart, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it listed there.

Nearly two months later, this has more than doubled its airplay, and returns to the New & Active section with just over 800K in AI. At this rate, it may actually end up charting. There could be a number of openings next week, as Kenny Chesney and Chase Rice will both most likely go recurrent.
Clare Dunn, Mo Pitney and Ronnie Dunn are all on their second consecutive bulletless weeks, as well. So this does have a window to chart, if it can post some gains this week.

A year later, this finally debuts on the Billboard chart at #59. Breaks into a happy dance. Yes!!!!! I know this song will probably not last much longer but the fact that this type of song which this is a masterpiece in itself can even manage to chart just makes my heart smile.

This took about 6 months from its adds date to chart, lol. I wonder if that's like the longest it took something to chart after going for adds. Obviously it's a miracle that it charted at all at this point, but that is a very pleasant surprise to see it manage to do it. Shame they couldn't have recorded better music (like this song) when they actually had a record deal, because I generally thought the bulk of their previous output was pretty vanilla and I wasn't surprised they never caught on fully.

This song has been on my playlist for quite some time now. I love this song. Any chance this song has any type of small chart run in it?

I actually never thought this would have done much when they were at Sony or Carolwood. It's a very good song but I just think it would have flown over radio's head and peaked somewhere in the 30's, especially when most of their singles had such a tough time getting off the ground to begin with.
Thirty Tigers needs time to build clout with mainstream radio, so I don't think this will do much more than its already accomplished, but it's nice to see them back in the top 60.

This gets a second week on the chart, as it gains very minimal AI and holds steady in spins, but it slips one spot to #60. I doubt it does much more than this, and would be quite surprised if it lasted through the holidays, but it is really nice to see it on the charts.

"Whiskey On My Breath" moved up four spots to #55 on Billboard Airplay (#60 on MB) this week and this song just scored two big adds recently (KSCS in Dallas and KAJA in San Antonio). Thirty Tigers was able to get an ad in Aircheck this evening and it looks like they're going to try and push this one through the new year.
It's going to be a long road for Thirty Tigers to get consistent hits on mainstream radio but I'm happy to see them and Love and Theft having a little success with "Whiskey On My Breath."

Of all the acts they are working with Love And Theft are the most commercial and radio friendly so it doesn't surprise me all that much that they're going to stick with pushing this. I wonder if dropping this and going with something else from the album would be better though?

Heard this on Bobby Bones this week. Think Bobby will be able to break this song like they did Chris Janson?

How many people legitimately listen to Bobby? I never hear him on any of the four stations around me but maybe I just never listen at the right time.
This great song is up to #2 country on iTunes. It's really amazing, the "Bobby Benefit".
Maybe this one can miraculously take off. People WANT to hear songs like this, "Humble and Kind", "Boy and a Girl Thing", and "Head Over Boots".

His show is carried on 68 stations, and he has an estimated audience of 3 million. So I would assume that it's a pretty fair number.

It is absolutely incredible the reach that Bobby Bones has.
Like him or not, more than often he picks songs that are actually incredibly awesome songs and helps them become successful. The early plays of Burning House and the female spotlight week come to mind. He is a huge supporter of Lindsay Ell, which gives me hope for her too.

"Whiskey On My Breath" got 10 more adds this week, which I believe gets this song to almost 60 total stations.
Love and Theft were #54 on this week's Mediabase chart.

Eight months after officially going for adds with Thirty Tigers, "Whiskey On My Breath" reaches a new peak of #42 on Billboard Airplay (rising up eight spots from last week).

You mean to tell me that this is only #42? I heard this all summer on my local station here in Pittsburgh. I thought it would be top 15 by now. Thank God Froggy jumped on the bandwagon early. This song is fantastic, hopefully it hits big.

This song was released digitally in either November or December 2014 I can't remember. I remember listening to it way back then. Has anything like this happened before where a song reaches its peak over a year later? FWIW I do like this song and this is great news. The power of Bobby Bones!

The thread for "Makin' This Boy Go Crazy" by Dylan Scott was made in the winter of 2013 and the add date was in June of 2013. The song peaked in the summer of 2014. That's the closest thing to this I've seen recently.

Unfortunately, it couldn't sustain last week's big move, dropping 42-46 and losing over 600k in AI. Hopefully this is just a bump in the road, but even if not, it's far exceeded my expectations.

I just wonder how well this could've done if they were still on RCA Nashville? I mean, the fact that this has come close to Top 40 after it being out almost a year before it started to get anywhere and with them being independent, I wonder if they could've had a real hit with this one with a major label backing it. It would be cool if the reception this has gotten thus far led to a bigger label recognizing that and offering to throw their support behind it/Love and Theft as a result, but it's definitely defied a great number of odds in getting where it has at all.
