With the artRAVE's final performance starting shortly, the ARTPOP era has officially come to an end. Bring on the new era!

I'm kinda expecting 2015 to be Gaga-less, at least in the pop spectrum

I'm kinda expecting 2015 to be Gaga-less, at least in the pop spectrum I could see the 2nd Gaga/Tony album coming out next year (assuming that is actually happening, which after the way the 1st was received I think is very likely) with new Gaga in 2016.

Watching the artRAVE Paris. God, I love her. She is so genuinely humble.

Did her tour really gross $85 million total?

Did her tour really gross $85 million total? Looks like its about that. She only played 79 shows.

About a million per show average is not bad.

I'd definitely like to hear something coming from her next year. Maybe even a little EP, or something short and striking like The Fame Monster.

A shame the ARTPOP era ended so quickly. I still wanna be that G.U.Y.

I wouldn't have complained if she would have released "Venus" that song was definitely single-worthy! But the era seemed to have no hype, so it was a smart move to just focus on touring and then start all over.

Lady Gaga has now reached the 10 million SoundScan album sales threshold in the United States from her five major releases (2008's The Fame, 2009's The Fame Monster, 2011's Born This Way, 2013's ARTPOP, 2014's Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett) and four other minor releases (2009's Cherrytree Sessions, 2010's The Remix, 2011's Born This Way: The Remix, 2011's A Very Gaga Holiday) since her mainstream debut in 2008. Here are her albums with their latest reported SoundScan figures: The Fame and The Fame Monster (EP) - 6.2 million units sold (as of Nov. 17, 2014 via Billboard) Born This Way - 2.326 million units sold (as of March 30, 2014 via Billboard) ARTPOP - 725,000 units sold (as of August 18, 2014 via Billboard) Cheek to Cheek (w/ Tony Bennett) - 322,333 units sold (as of Nov. 19, 2014 via @chartnews) Cherrytree Sessions (EP) - 17,500 units sold (as of May 2011 via Pulse Music Board / SoundScan) The Remix - 308,000 units sold (as of March 30, 2014 via Billboard) Born This Way: The Remix - 60,000 units sold (as of March 30, 2014 via Billboard) A Very Gaga Holiday (EP) - 42,000 units sold (as of March 30, 2014 via Billboard) TOTAL: 10 MILLION SoundScan-reported units sold at the very minimum Note: The following numbers listed above are not the current and fully updated stats for Gaga's releases. They're simply her latest reported SoundScan figures. SoundScan is the sole source of album sales of which Billboard is using for their charts.

It's strange to think that if one considers TFM as a separate album, she's now released 5 albums of new material.
Good riddance to ARTPOP. I still think it blows, but the first 2 singles and title track are all high quality. I really hope her next project is better mastered in the studio, the mastering on ARTPOP was pitiful for an act of her stature and budget.

Cherrytree Sessions (EP) - 17,500 units sold (as of May 2011 via Pulse Music Board / SoundScan) Hehe I leaked that figure.

I wish she takes a year off writing new material and comes back with a vengeance! For her commercial success, the longer she's away the more anticipation there will be. But also she must come back with top material.

From GagaDaily:
Fun fact: Lady Gaga's concert tours have grossed a combined total of half a BILLION dollars in just 5 years.

I'd obviously love a surprise album tomorrow but since that won't happen, I'm okay if she took some time to recollect and get back into the swing of things. I'm hopeful for a new album next November with a single in September or October. I feel like there's enough coming out (hopefully!) from others to keep me occupied until then. It wouldn't happen but I don't want to risk Gaga overload and the potential of subpar material. She can make a killer record again and I'm more than okay to wait for it if I have to. Adele will slay soon anyway.

Interview with Howard Stern
I'm actually mad at her for doing this interview after he dragged her through the mud after her Monster Ball HBO Special was released.

What did Howard say post-Monster Ball?
I think if the general air around ARTPOP was cleaner (DWUW video situation, manager split, YouTube award performance, etc.) and "Gypsy" had been thrown in as a single instead of "G.U.Y." that the era could have been acceptable. I love the album and saw her live twice (both shows were exceptional) but the last year and a half has been a mess. It's not that I even need her back on top of the charts but I'd like her next cycle to be less muddy.

It's not as good as their interview from last year (which was phenomenal), but it has very good parts.
LMAO @ her talking about it being tough for America because of negative things on the internet and how people need to hold hands. Fucking hilarious.

I'm still holding out hope for a new pop album next year. I actually really loved Artpop (bar 'Jewels N Drugs' and 'Dope' *shudder*).
