Is 30 weeks for "Dangerous" the most weeks a song has spent on the Bubbling Under chart?

drummer- "Cinema" by Benny Benassi Featuring Gary Go/"Cinema looks to have spent 48 weeks on.
Pearl Jam's "Alive" and "Even Flow" charted for 42 and 35 weeks, respectively (in multiple chartings, six-plus months apart).
Village People's "San Francisco (You've Got Me)" spent 30 weeks on the chart.

Like I Can >>>>>>>> Lay Me Down Well, in terms of quality i don't agree, in terms of better third single you are right. Anyway, unless things change a lot it seems that Lay me down will be a decent hit so there's no reason for Like i can not smashing as fourth single

But, right now Sam is living from the two collaborations and the general good buzz around him, because what he did as solo singer is a chart suicide. The three singles are great, but the three are slow ballads and that's not the way you built a career, it's using just one trick when everybody knows he have a lot more (Safe with me has more in common with his Disclosure collaboration than with his three singles). In UK he released two uptempos, Money on my mind and Like i can, and he really needs an uptempo hit in the USA to establish himself and give him more room for future releases. I don't know who took the decision, but he or she is plain wrong, Like i can was perfect now and Lay me down could be a great fourth or fifth single. Fortunately for him he is at one of those moments an artist can do no wrong, but the decision was not wise anyway

It's really catchy! Though I disagree with you about the solo career suicide thing lol obviously both of those two singles made top five on the Hot 100 and one of them is nearing a year on the chart while the other one will probably get 40-something weeks by the end of its run so these two singles that you say fail to build a career were actually what I would call very successful

Well, the all balladry really killed Leona Lewis buzz, and she had two top hits too. Of course Sam is selling albums like a champion so even if the song ends flopping i don't think it'll have lasting effects.
I really like Money on my mind, i understand why he didn't release it as first single, because the song is too polarizing and even if his career exploded without any effort, the truth is on paper he was hard to sell as commercial success and they probably wanted the safest choice possible as first single release.
In my opinion Like i can - Lay me down - Money on my mind was the right order, because even if a fifth single doesn't work is not a big deal if the previous four were hits.
Anyway, after Lay me down, he needs to release an uptempo, that's the only way.
Of course they could make another special edition of the album with some new songs, he left some great songs like Nirvana and Safe with me out of the album, and there was radio interest in Safe with me (which was almost top 60 when I'm not the only one was released and that without any push, video or promo)
