SERIOUS * RaeLynn will make Top 15 with "God Made Girls" but the album will still be delayed. The second single fails to make Top 40, and she is mercifully never heard from again.
* Sam Hunt has three more Top 5 singles off his debut album, and people continue to say "well, his songs are really good, but they're not country, so zero stars".
* Maddie & Tae break the new female act curse and get two more Top 5 hits
* "Something in the Water" becomes Carrie's first single not to make the Top 2.
* Blake's #1 streak continues uninterrupted
* Thomas Rhett leads off his second album with a considerably more mature song.
* Josh Turner's "Lay Low" takes about 40 weeks to make Top 5, but just like the last album, he make a stupid decision for the second single and torpedoes all of his momentum again
* "Perfect Storm" continues Brad's streak of hitting #1 on Mediabase only, but the third single fails to make Top 20… again
* George Strait releases a farewell single whose chart run closely mirrors that of "I Got a Car"
NOT SO SERIOUS * Love and Theft reveals that they are actually both Dan + Shay and The Swon Brothers.
* Chase Rice wins Best New Artist award; acceptance speech is abruptly cut off just as he says "And if y'all ****headed ****wits don't like my ****in' music you can ****in' kiss my ****in' ***."
* Florida Georgia Line releases a cover of Eminem's "Rap God" with guest vocals from Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, and Colt Ford (naturally); despite spending 19 weeks at #1 on the mongrel chart, it peaks at #42 on Country Airplay.
* Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett decide to incorporate neotraditionalist country influences into the next Gorillaz album. Due to a complex in-universe story, Noodle is temporarily replaced by Zombie Buck Owens.
* Tommy Shane Steiner is discovered to be working at a Starbucks in Atlanta; after a customer asks if he is the guy who sang "What If She's an Angel", he declares that he has no recollection of ever being a singer. Even better, the customer is Bridgette Wilson Sampras.
* Cole Swindell seeks therapy for all the years he was teased in high school for having the name "Cold and Rainy"; also present in the therapy session is Cole "Stop Calling Me Cold Eggs" Deggs.
* Jerrod Niemann drops all pretense and releases a cover of Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty", finally satisfying his needs for both blatant Auto-Tune and eye-rolling single-entendres in one fell swoop.
* Eric Church, feeling that the title track of The Outsiders wasn't edgy enough for him, leads off his next album with a noise-rock track called "Terrorists Strangled by Their Own Intestines for Fun and Profit". It's so loud and harsh that DJs start returning the single, thinking that it has a serious production error. When confronted about the song, Church counters with a string of profanities that would make even Chase Rice blanch.
* The third single from Slow Me Down is announced just before Christmas 2015... with an adds date of March 2017.
* Toby Keith is discovered working evenings at one of his own I Love This Bar & Grill restaurants.
* Four words: Daft Punk goes country.
* Rodney Atkins asks Mike Curb why he hasn't had another single announced yet; Curb replies, "I have no idea who you are. Are you even signed with us?"
* Michael Carter, dissatisfied with the production on Cole Swindell's album, asks for advice from Frank Liddell and Dann Huff.
* Hunter Hayes' fanbase starts dwindling one airheaded teenage girls realize that like, ohmygawd, he like, totally looks like he's 7, and that's ewww, like totally gross to think a 7 year old is like, hot, ohmygawd.
* Tyler Farr walks into a bar; world explodes from the irony.
* Kelsea Ballerini gets to #15 but still doesn't have a Wikipedia article because no one can find a scrap of information on her
* The Railers fall off and re-enter the charts six more times; they finally peak at #34 in December 2015 after 18 weeks
* The long-awaited reunion of The Buffalo Club!

2015 Predictions:
1. Jana Kramer's "Love" will continue to spend the first part of the year at #32-#33 then finally goes Top 10 by July. 2. Jason Aldean remarries. A highly publicized separation/and or divorce makes headlines. 3. More than two country singers come out. 4. Continuing their downhill slides: Rascal Flatts and Toby Keith 5. Reba McEntire and Alan Jackson come back with a successful single and album. First singles both make Top 20 but the other singles only make Top 40. 6. Aside from Carrie Underwood's "Something In The Water", no other female singer makes #1. 7. Inductions into the Country Music Hall of Fame: Dottie West, Alan Jackson, Johnny Horton, Dean Dillon 8. Little Big Town continue with their couple of hit singles followed by songs that barely make Top 30 success. 9. Parmalee's "Close Your Eyes" will go #1 after spending 60 weeks on the Airplay chart. 10. Eric Church is inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. 11. Blake Shelton's consecutive #1 streak comes to an end. 12. Luke Bryan releases a 7th single from "Crash My Party" 13. Garth Brooks wins Entertainer of the Year from both the ACM's and CMA's 14. Maddie & Tae's next single only makes Top 30. 15. Hunter Hayes moves over to pop after his country music career stalls out. 16. Zac Brown Band will not win Vocal Group of the Year from either the ACM's and CMA's but will be nominated for a Grammy for "All Alright" 17. Shania Twain won't release an album in 2015. 18. With the failure of "Freestyle" Lady Antebellum releases a new album late summer but the first single will only reach Top 20. 19. Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban all keep their Top 10 streaks going in 2015. 20. To bolster sales, Lady Antebellum's new album if released in 2015 will feature the first lead vocals for Dave Haywood on an album. Same for Rascal Flatts with Jay and Joe Don singing lead vocals on one song each.

Ten Pound Hammer, I am curious how you think "Something in the Water" will miss the top 2 considering it's one of the top-selling country singles right now and is bulleted at #9 with no signs of struggling. Maybe "Sun Daze" or "I See You" will block Carrie and she'll end up with a Mediabase-only #1 and a #2 peak on Billboard but I'd honestly be shocked to see even a #2 Billboard peak, much less a finish outside the top 2. I agree with drummerman2009's predictions that Blake Shelton's consecutive #1 streak will come to an end and that Garth will win Entertainer of the Year at one of the award shows, although I do expect Luke Bryan to win at the ACMs. Now that George Strait's days of winning awards are over it seems Sony and Universal will be in some fierce competition for the Entertainer of the Year battle between Luke Bryan and Garth Brooks. I'm thinking since Garth might not have as much commercial success he'll receive more support from awards shows.

Shania Twain will finally release her 5th studio album, and will debut at #1 on Billboard's Country Albums chart but still fail to get a #1 on the Billboard 200.

Serious* Brad Paisley hits #1 with "Perfect Storm", single #3 goes Top-5, single #4 goes Top 10. * Zac Brown Band's next two singles go #1, "Beautiful Drug" becomes a decent-sized crossover hit * Zac Brown Band win CMA Vocal Group of the Year. * Eric Church's "Talladega" goes #1, he releases "Like A Wrecking Ball" next and it peaks between #6 and #9. * Kacey Musgraves' lead single goes Top-10, her second single does better with a Top-5 peak. Her second album sells 100,000+ copies in the first week. * Jake Owen's "What We Ain't Got" goes Top-10, his next lead single is very similar in subject matter to "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" * Jerrod Niemann releases a more traditional-sounding lead single, it fails to go Top-30. * Easton Corbin's "Baby Be My Love Song" fails to go Top-20, he doesn't release an album in 2015. * Maddie & Tae's follow-up to "Girl In A Country Song" fails to go Top-10. * Alan Jackson has a single that goes Top-30. * Mickey Guyton's "Better Than You Left Me" goes Top-10. * Blake Shelton's "Lonely Tonight" hits #1 and goes Platinum, he releases "Buzzin'" next and it doesn't connect like "Boys Round Here" did, ends his #1 streak. * Randy Houser's lead single goes #1. * Chris Young's "Lonely Eyes" goes Top-5, releases "Hold You To It" next, which has similar sales and a similar chart run as "I Can Take It From There". * Dierks Bentley's "Say You Do" limps into the Top-10, his next single fails to go Top-15. * Charlie Worsham's lead single goes Top-15. * Tim McGraw releases "Diamond Rings and Old Barstools", which gains many award nominations. * "She Don't Love You" goes #1, earns Eric Paslay many award nominations. * Sam Hunt has two more songs go Top-5 at country, at least one song go Top-20 at Hot AC and Pop. * Kenny Chesney gets three Top-5 hits. * Luke Bryan has three multi-week #1 hits. * Carrie Underwood's "Something In The Water" goes #1, her next lead single goes #1. * Jason Aldean's "Just Gettin' Started" goes #1, he releases one of the slower songs ("Too Fast", "Tryin' To Love Me", "Two Night Town") and goes #1. * Joe Nichols doesn't come close to matching his "Sunny & 75" and "Yeah" success. * Miranda Lambert's "Smokin' And Drinkin'" goes Gold and Top-5, her next single goes Top-5, Platinum goes, well, Platinum. * Kip Moore releases a more radio-friendly single, goes Top-10, he releases his album. * Cole Swindell gets two #1 hits. * Nothing Dustin Lynch releases goes Top-15. * Garth Brooks' "Mom" goes Top-10, single #3 goes Top-20, Man Against Machine goes Gold. * Lee Brice's "Drinking Class" hits #1, he releases "That Don't Sound Like You" and it hits #1. * Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" fails to go Top-15, kills all Pain Killer momentum * Florida Georgia Line take their albums off Spotify. * Big & Rich's "Lovin' Lately" goes Top-10. * Darius Rucker's "Homegrown Honey" goes Top-5, the follow-up goes #1. * At least one more country artist comes out. * Breakout Stars of 2015: Mickey Guyton, A Thousand Horses, Will Hoge Not So Serious* Jason Aldean releases "Just Gettin' Started", "Tonight Looks Good On You", and "Sweet Little Somethin'". "Just Gettin' Started" goes #1, but the others flop because listeners cannot tell the difference between the three songs. * I continue to think that Cole Swindell wears a hat with his own initials on it because he has great self-confidence and pride in his musical abilities. (Seriously, I just realized he wears a Georgia State hat.) * Radio PDs take the title of Sam Hunt's next single "Take Your Time" literally in their approach to adding the song to their playlists, the song has the longest chart run in country music history. * Carrie names her son Brad. * Jon Pardi legally changes his name to Jon Party in an effort to stay relevant in country music. * Lady Antebellum's singles continue to struggle, re-release 747 twice. * Garth Brooks deletes his recently-created Twitter and Facebook accounts, destroys all his personal technology, and goes on a national tour to play acoustic concerts where admission is the destruction of your smartphone. * Sam Hunt releases his version of "Cop Car" to stick it to Keith Urban, throws a fit when it flops. * Blake Shelton gains 30 pounds as a result of the lifetime supply of Pizza Hut pizza given to him for his commercials. * Florida Georgia Line get 3 Grammy nominations, take to Twitter to complain that they should have gotten more. * Jason Aldean photos leak, they show him cracking a smile. * Brooks & Dunn release a final greatest hits compilation entitled Brooks & Done. I might add some more to both lists in the near-future.

Ok so all of mine are not serious in the slightest...
- After Cledus T Judd's song "Luke Bryan" cracks the charts, it climbs higher and higher until finally every pickup in America is blasting it. Cledus T becomes the next Garth and decides to release a concept album of hunting anthems. Popular number ones from that album were hits such as, "God Made Squirrels", "What We Ain't Shot", "Lay Low(And Aim High!)", and "Pheasant On My Mind". A bonus track called "Throwback Merle"( parody of Buzz Back Girl) gets flack for having lyrics similar to that of "Murder On Music Row". Cledus T is banned from Nashville for being too traditonally minded and then decides to do a duets album with Taylor Swift where they rerecord all their famous hits. It is called "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together Nashville Like Ever Ok?!?"
- Eric Paslay is mistaken as Brad Paisley's brother due to similar sounding last names. Eric and Brad see this as an opportunity and form a duo called "The Paislay Bros". People quickly forget who Florida- Alabama or Georgia or whatever they're called are and become the biggest thing since Brooks and Dunn. Their debut album titled "This Is Country Music: Songs About Girls" is the first country album to be certified 3x Diamond
- After "The Paislay Bros" break up due to Brad's scandoulous recording of "Accidental Baptist", Eric decides to go into filmmaking. He lands a lead role with Cole Swindell. In the movie, Cole is about to walk up to a girl's house because he hopes she gets lonely tonight. Just before he walks up those steps, our hero Eric steps in and says "Stop man! She don't love you shes just lonely!" Cole comes to his senses and says "you're right man, she ain't worth the whiskey!" They skip together off into the sunset and live happily ever after
- Florida Georgia Line cross over and do a country song
- Blake Shelton, wondering just how lucky he can get at country radio, decides to ask Natalie Maines if she would like to do a duet. She is hesitant. Finally Blake screams at her "come on you jacka** at least i'm not Toby Keith! She agrees its true and decides to do it. The song debuts at #1.
- Sam Hunt turns heads as he is announced as the CMA's Female Vocalist Of The Year. Miranda Lambert is spotted on another camera shouting "What the f***?!?" which causes her to be shunned from Country Music. This causes her to beg Cledus T Judd and Taylor Swift to be a part of their country supergroup. Cledus and Taylor agree to let her in. They go on a world tour riding around in a Little Red Wagon
- Trisha Yearwood releases a song called "Dad". It blocks Garth from No.1 with "Mom". Garth unfriends Trisha on Facebook as a result since he now has that power
I might have more later

Why are these predictions so harsh? I don't think all of these artists listed will fail, but maybe Toby Keith. Blake will do fine. I believe FGL will start selling poorly, and Garth will win Entertainer of the Year at the CMA'S. Sam Hunt will win New Artist of the Year at the CMAS. Shania will sell really well. Reba will sell really well. Alan Jackson will earn another hit and number one album. Carrie Underwood will definitely make no. 1 with Something in the Water.

* Garth Brooks will be huge. He will return to the country top 10 hit with "Mom," while his tour breaks records and helps win him Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards. * Miranda Lambert release "Little Red Wagon" as the 4th single from Platinum. It will miss the top 10, but win Video of the Year at the CMAs. She will also announce her pregnancy at the end of the year. * Alan Jackson, George Strait, Reba McEntire, and Shania Twain will release new albums. For their lead singles, Reba and Shania will peak in the top 20, while Alan and George will only make it to the top 30. * Kacey Musgraves will release her second album. It'll sell well and the critics will love it, but radio will ignore any singles. * Linda Ronstadt and Hank Williams, Jr. will be the newest Country Music Hall of Fame inductees. * Martina McBride, Terri Clark and Clint Black will sign with Nash Icons. * Maddie & Tae, Mickey Guyton, and Josh Dorr will be the breakthrough artists of the year. * A country singer will compete on Dancing with the Stars, while another wins either American Idol or The Voice.

Okay, I haven't paid much attention, so many of these will probably be wrong * Kacey Musgraves will crossover to top 40 with at least one song, and her sophomore album will debut with over 70K. * Carrie will release her lead single sometime next year (I'll say Q3) and it will go #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. * The Band Perry will get a Top 40 Pop hit again! (I hope this comes true) * Hunter Hayes will release a new lead single and attempt to crossover to top 40! * Lady Antebellum's singles will flop throughout 2015. * Maddie & Tae will have another Top 5 Country hit this year * Another country singer will come out (most likely a retired or washed-up "star") * Reba's new single will fail to reach the top 10... (I hope this doesn't come true) * Taylor ~might~ release a ballad to country radio and it will actually be received well * Rascal Flatts' new singles will all fail to reach top 10 * Blake Shelton will get another #1 this year and win Best Male Vocalist once again at the CMA awards * Miranda won't win the Female Vocalist award ending her streak * Luke Bryan will have at least 2 #1s on country radio this year (maybe 3?) * Florida Georgia Line will attempt to make yet another pop remix and flop on both formats (Country and Top 40)

1. Alan Jackson is inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame
2. Garth Brooks wins Entertainer of the Year at either the ACMs or the CMAs
3. Sam Hunt's "Leave The Night On" reaches the top 10 at HotAC, and he receives New Artist wins from all major awards shows
4. Reba and Trisha both receive Female Vocalist of the Year nominations from the ACMs or the CMAs
5. Neither Faith Hill or Shania Twain release an album
6. Sugarland officially announce their breakup
7. Tim McGraw stars in another Oscar winning movie
8. The format formally splits, and a new "Adult Country" format/chart is created (similar to CHRPop/HotAC)
9. One of the Dixie Chicks writes a book, which blows the lid off of their banning, and creates a lot of controversy in the industry
10. Show Dog Universal closes, and Toby Keith does not release any music in 2015

1. Zac Brown Band will have a huge year, getting two #1 songs with a lead single going platinum and bringing them back in the spotlight. Their new album will get great reviews by critics, and will debut at #1 on Billboard. 2. Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell will continue their success, and bring them closer to the A-list. Make Me Wanna will peak at #1, and Rhett will have a big lead single for his next album. "What We Ain't Got" will finally get Jake an award nomination. "Ain't Worth The Whiskey" will be another #1 for Cole, and he will release a 4th single from his debut album. 3. After Just Gettin' Started peaks at #1, Jason will release Sweet Little Somethin', and it will be one of the biggest hits of the year. It will sell like crazy, music video will have lots of views, and it will dominate radio. 4. After Talladega, Eric won't have another top 10 hit from The Outsiders. 5. Luke Bryan's next album comes out, and it will sell 600k in the first week. It will be the most hyped country album of the year. 6. There will be at least 2 unsuspected hits from veteran artists, similar to Big & Rich and Craig Morgan this year. 7. Carrie Underwood will have a new album just in time for the holidays. 8. Anything Goes will continue Fla Ga Line's success at radio, becoming a huge hit. 9. "Mom" will make top 20, but fizzle out quickly. The third single from Garth will fail to crack the top 40. Man Against Machine will go Gold, but not platinum. 10. Miranda will have zero #1 hits, but her songs will continue to sell well.

Some more non serious predictions from me. No offense to any artists i mention
- Jamey Johnson will release his first album on his new independent label. It will generate much buzz and gain him a huge following. how big you ask? Well his beard will get its own twitter page and even have more follower than Luke Bryan' s ass page
- Tim McGraw, still oblivious to the fact that Truck Yeah and Lookin For That Girl didn't work out for him, will release a similar sounding track off his new album titled "Please Be 18", it will fail to chart
-Meanwhile Back At Curb :) Tim's 8546th greatest hits album will be released. It will be called "The Hits that Truly Shaped Tim(Oh screw it just help us! All we have is Lee Brice!
- Jimmy Wayne will release his 2nd autobiography. It will set a record for ths shortest book ever written. What will it be called? "All My No.1 Hits"

Gary Allan will release a fan-freaking-tastic song to radio. It climbs to No.3. It stalls because news leaks that radio is playing someone over the age of 45Tim McGraw - 47 Kenny Chesney - 46 Keith Urban - 47 Anyways... - Lee Brice will have a huge year. "Drinking Class" and "That Don't Sound Like You" will both go #1 and platinum. He'll score a Male Vocalist of the Year nomination at either the ACM's or the CMA's. - Likewise, Brantley Gilbert will have a monster year. "One Hell of an Amen" will go #1 and garner award nominations. "Lights of My Hometown" will fly to #1 and go multi-platinum. He will also score a Male Vocalist nomination at the CMA/ACM's. - Brandy Clark will go top-40 with a lead single. - "A Guy Walks into a Bar" will take forever to peak, but Tyler Farr will get another top 10 out of it. - "Say You Do" eventually goes number one for Dierks Bentley, and will be followed up by "Five" which will be huge. He will win MVOTY at the ACM's. - Kip Moore will regain momentum when he releases "Lipstick" as a single. - Zac Brown Band will have a HUGE year. Their new album will garner award nominations, and they will finally take home CMA Vocal Group of the Year. - Florida Georgia Line will continue to dominate. "Anything Goes" and "Confession" smash for them. - "Smokin' and Drinkin" will be certified platinum, but will not go #1. - Dallas Smith will score a hit. Also, Josh Abbott Band and Dylan Scott will have moderate hits. - Jason Aldean will win CMA Entertainer of the Year. - Rascal Flatts will not score a top ten hit. - Sturgill Simpson will chart in the top-60. - Eli Young Band's lead single will go #1. - "Talladega" will be the last single from 'The Outsiders'. - "Mom" will got top-ten, nothing else from 'Man Against Machine' will be a hit.

Point taken Markus, anyway here are my serious predictions:
- Mom will struggle on the charts and Garth will struggle with anything else on Man Against Machine. However he will release an album in 2015 that will contain a #1
- The lead single from Jon Pardi's next album will land him his first top 10
- Eric Paslay will struggle a bit with "She Don't Love You", however eventually the song will go #1 and earn him at least one award
- Trace Adkins will score some sort of comeback
- Kacey Musgraves's 2nd album will not generate nearly as much buzz as Same Trailer Different Park did
-Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney will continue to score top 5 hits (i might sound like a broke record in this one but i do believe it to be true)
- An unexpected country star will release one of the best albums of 2015
- Maddie and Tae will start a revolution of female singers on the charts
- Dierks Bentley will release another bluegrass album
- Will Hoge will break into mainstream country
-Jamey Johnson will release one of the best songs and/or albums of 2015
-Jason Aldean will have at least one flop single with Old Boots New Dirt

One common prediction for 2015 that I disagree with is Garth winning an Entertainer of the Year award. While his tour is and will continue to be huge, it's the only thing he has going for him. The new music has been met with a tepid reception, with disappointing initial sales and radio airplay. I just don't see him having a chance at getting an EOTY win.

*Carrie will release an album in late 2015, and be involved in several side projects. *Carrie will release an album in late 2015, to coincide with headlining the Superbowl in early 2016 *Two high-profile female artists will do a joint tour *At least one Blake single will miss the top ten; he won't win Male vocalist at the CMA's *Riot will miss the top 20, but Rascal Flatts will see moderate success in Vegas, and a new lead single will be released in early Spring *Maddie and Tae will release several successful singles and become the new "it" girls. Their EP will eventually go platinum *ZBB will do another project with Dave Grohl, and play wth several other classic Rock acts *Lady A will go top 15 with "Freestyle" and (again) move on to a new era very quickly *A big Country star will be involved in a documentary/movie that does fairly well *Another Country star will come out *Hunter Hayes misses the mark with his next single. He takes a two-year break in between albums and decides to devote himself to touring with a big-name act *Shania releases a single that gets a pretty big response at first, and then fizzles out *Lauren Alania & Kacey Musgraves will see moderate radio success when their new albums debut *LBT won't win vocal group at the CMA's or ACM's, and the singles from Painkiller will struggle to make top 20. They'll bounce back with a smash lead siingle in early 2016 *Smokin' And Drinkin' will stall in the top 15, but her next single will go top 3 and win Song Of The Year at the CMA's *A high-profile Country couple will divorce *Garth will go into "retirement" again, after MAM fails to make the impact he hoped for

Everyone stop hating on Garth Brooks!! He is trying so hard to succeed in tough times. I don't think Garth would go into retirement. MAM is making somewhat of an impact in my opinion. No need to say he's failing because clearly he's not if he can get a number one album and it has been number one for 2 weeks. Sure he debuted at number four on Billboard but that is still good.

No one is hating on Garth Brooks. This is a "predictions" thread, meaning that anyone is welcome to share their opinions on what could happen. Some people take it seriously, some people don't, but even for those who do make serious predictions, it wouldn't be realistic to predict sunshine and rainbows for every country artist...

Gotta add lollipops to that. That's how that saying was said to me anyway. :)

Shania Twain finally releases a new studio album, that will debut at #1 on the country charts. The album will produce some singles which create much buzz and climb the charts reaching the top 20 (at minimum).

-Lady Antebellum's "Freestyle" will stall out around 10-13. They will release one more single from 747 which will go top 3 at least. They will then move on to a new album for Spring 2016.
-The Band Perry will have a huge debut hit that will sound more traditional than we expect.
-Brad Paisley will hit #1 with "Perfect Storm," but only by a narrow margin. His two subsequent singles will meet similar radio and digital success.
-Tim McGraw will release two more singles from Sundown Heaven Town, both of which will be smash hits.
-Garth Brooks' "Mom" will rise rapidly early on and then peak around 8-10 in later winter. No other songs from the album will see similar success, although one may get near 15.
-Blake Shelton will continue his streak of number ones, albeit with decreasing consistent success on the Hot Country chart, signaling perhaps a return to reality by the end of 2015.
-Similarly, Luke Bryan's new album will be even less country than Crash My Party. His radio airplay will not continue to dominate after the debut single, but his digital sale success will continue to skyrocket.
-There will be a surprising handful of traditional sounding country #1s in 2015.
-There will be a surprising handful of pop-sounding country #1s in 2015.
-There will be no format split in 2015, but the signs point to a good possibility the following year.
Not so serious -Miranda Lambert leaves Blake Shelton when he proclaims "look, I just feel that I'm a busy guy. 50% of my time is time for Blake, 30% is time for the Voice, 20% is time for music and 50% is time for Pizza Hut."

Maybe it's just because I absolutely hate the song, but I just feel like it's the kind of song that'll hit a brick wall somehow. You absolutely hate the song? That's a really strong word to describe a song about discovering something spiritual. But whatever.
