I just heard that Eric Church was kicked off the Rascal Flatts tour for playing too long, too loud and breaking rules that RF sets for opening acts. If this is true...that's pretty stupid on his part.

I wouldn't call it stupid on his part. Stupid on their part for setting limits I think. The fans came for some good music, let the man play!

This topic has been talked about a lot in the Country News thread. Eric got kicked off b/c he played longer than the contract that he himself signed specified (20 minutes). Him playing over pushed Gary Allan and Rascal Flatts late, causing Rascal Flatts thousands in fines from the venues b/c of "noise curfews." He was warned, but he ignored the warnings. At the NYC show, Rascal Flatts got fined by the union for the stage hands b/c they were forced to play during the "dark stage" time (the set time when the stage hands are allowed to take a break) b/c Eric played over. So they kicked him off the tour. End of story.
