AAA has seemed to have picked this one up, which makes sense. Moving towards the Top 30 currently:

From the Nashville episode, and my second-favorite track on the record. Hope it becomes the second alternative single as well, kinda reminds me of an Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace track.

Anything from this album except "Subterranean" will do.

Outside, In the Clear and Subterranean would all be bad choices.

Want to see both "The Feast and the Famine" and "I Am A River" as singles. Not sure if they'd be able to go four singles deep on album with just 8 tracks. I'd rather see this as a single than the other 3 though.

I think this would be the best choice; it's better than "The Feast and the Famine" IMO, although I wouldn't mind either, lol.
I don't think "I Am a River" would work, even with an edit.

I don't want to see I Am a River get a radio edit. Its beauty should be preserved in its original form.

Lol if they went 4 deep Id like to see it go
Something From Nothing Congregation (assuming this is #2) Outside In The Clear or I Am A River (I Am A River is the best song on the album, but wouldn't work well without an edit)

My favorites from the album are Something From Nothing, Congregation, I Am A River, and my favorite is What Did I Do?/God As My Witness.

I loved this one! Should be a great single IMO. "The Feast And The Famine" should be a good decision too. But my fave in the album is "What Did I Do?"

Not bad, but so far underwhelming single choices for me. "In The Clear" and "The Feast And The Famine" should be the second and third singles IMO, they have much more energy to them.

I'm hoping they go with "The Feast and The Famine" third and "In The Clear" fourth. There's not as many clear single choice on this album due to the length of most of the songs and the lack of them on the album.

Was hoping for this or "The Feast and The Famine" as single #2. Both seem like the obvious remaining choices from the album.
That said, I agree with Cody in "I Am A River" being the best song from the cd. Love that track.
"Sonic Highways" is far from my favorite Foo's album, but it's much better than some of the reviews its been getting. Still in heavy rotation for me.

This is why reviews are garbage. 75% of reviewers are hipsters who for whatever ridiculous reason just absolutely have to compare everything to the very best the band has ever done, and if it's not as good, it's automatically garbage. Then I'd say 20% of them have no idea what they're even talking about, and MAYBE 5% of them are decent and actually know how to conduct a proper review by evaluating content in the literal sense as oppose to the comparative sense. Metacritic, SPIN, Sputnik, allmusic, pitchfork, and even Rolling Stone. The whole damn lot of them need to settle the f*ck down.

This is definitely my pick for single #2. Has a "Long Road To Ruin" vibe and I can definitely get behind that.

I'm guessing a second number 1 single for them, since this one is even melodically catchier than "Something From Nothing"

Only Pitchfork gave Sonic Highways a bad review of the critics you listed, and frankly Sonic Highways didn't really get that bad reviews. The general consensus seems to think the album is good, and that's about right. Also Metacritic is an aggregate website a la Rotten Tomatoes. While their averages aren't as concise as RT's, they provide a general consensus and 67% isn't bad.

I'm talking about reviews for just about all elements of media content. Why anyone would let others decide whether or not they should listen to, view, or play something is mind boggling.
