I think this one is back on the strait and narrow. It has a nice bullet of +134. I still think a Top 10 can still happen once the housecleaning of Gloriana Tyler Farr and Keith Urban Tim McGraw even then I think the fire underneath this song will spark back up. The also good news is besides the high profile releases of Jake Owen Sam Hunt Brett Eldredge this looks to not get passed by anybody else. If BMLG sticks with this for a long while this song should do really well. Go Maddie & Tae.

Yeah, this has been posting pretty good gains lately and I think this will be at least within the Top 20 by album release at the end of August.

I'd love to see this at least hit the top 10 when all is said and done. It's a fantastic song, and I'm getting more and more excited for the release of the full album. I enjoyed the EP but was a little underwhelmed when it was first released, however it has grown on me a lot.

Maddie & Tae I think can eek into the Top 20 next week with a little work.
Keith is gonna pass them that's unavoidable. So Keith gets Kelsea's spot (she should go recurrent). If they hold off Jake Owen and Chase Rice they'll be good. The wildcard factor is this: Does Tim McGraw fall hard enough to go recurrent. Hopefully the girls can make the Top 20.

Whether they make Top 20 next week or it takes them a little longer, they'll get there. The album release is still two months off, so "Fly" will still be around for awhile yet.

I like kip really I do, I really enjoyed his last album it was phenomenal start to finish. That being said he hasn't produced anything at all that has gotten me excited since his last album. His current single to me is very bland as is this song by Maddie and tae.

"Fly" becomes Maddie & Tae's 2nd top 20 hit, as it moves up 1 spot to #20 on Billboard. :)
I don't know if I see this one making the top 10 (sales are pretty low), but it should be at least a solid top 15 by the time their album comes out.

While the sales aren't awful I do think it could be a little while before Maddie & Tae are passed. Jake Owen and well it should take a while with FGL or Kenny gets to the girls. But the sales aren't bad and it should see some top 20 conversions.

As per Windmills on twitter, Maddie & Tae are now the first female act since 2007 to follow up their first top 20 hit with another top 20 hit. (The wait for a solo female artist to accomplish the same feat continues, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kelsea Ballerini does just that in a few months with "Dibs".)

Ok lets see Juliane Hough That Song In My Head Ashton Shepherd Taking Off This Pain and Look It Up Crystal Shawanda You Can Let Go MB only Sunny Sweeney From A Table Away Jana Kramer Why Ya Wanna Kacey Musgraves Merry Go Round JaneDear Girls WildFlower Cassadee Pope Wasting All These Tears Danielle Bradberry The Heart Of Dixie Raelynn God Made Girls Kelsea Ballerini Love Me Like You Mean It Not to mention Taylor Carrie and Miranda having too many to count. Martina Reba and Sara Evans have gotten a few. I will say out of those female artists I think Danielle Casadee and Kelsea I believe will stick. Of course along with Maddie & Tae.

Really the girls are really talented. I will say Casadee can be a little screechy and Danielle well..... who am I kidding I like her. Kelsea is another one I also love her music. Maybe Mickey Guyton and Cam stand a shot of breaking out. That is about it?

That is about it? My comment was pure sarcasm. LOL :) and I'm more than afraid that you may be right... #Gosh! In the past we had a multitude of solidly placed and strong women; now aside Carrie and Miranda there's only aspiring pop songstresses that cater for the teen market and beyond that... not much, really? Sara and Reba are struggling, Kacey & Mickey apparently don't stand a chance at mainstream radio (for the moment being). Trisha, Jo Dee & Lee Ann don't even make the Top 60 any longer! There's a sensible void of female talent in their 30s to 40s that may appeal to a more adult crowd.

None have followed it with a second top 20 hit. www.mjsbigblog.com/women-country-music-the-industry-works-to-change-the-conversation.htm

Great accomplishment for Maddie & Tae! I wish "Fly" were lighting the country charts on fire a little more and selling a bit better than it is, but a follow-up that went Top 20 is lovely in itself, and I have a good feeling about these girls that they'll continue to see success. I hope this one can at least settle into a Top 15 peak by the album release. <3

Ouch a rough week so far for Maddie & Tae. They've remained rather flat this week. It's looking like Jake Owen will pass them. I think Kenny Chesney could pass the girls if not this week than next week Chase Rice could pass Maddie & Tae as well. There is a chance the girls get shoved out of the Top 20. I'm really surprised this isn't getting more Top 20 conversions. I think Keith Urban and Jake are taking the conversions from them. Hopefully this can re-pick the pace back up next week.

Maddie & Tae are having another solid week. The girls are up over a 1000K this week so far. They are actually slowly pulling away from Chase Rice and Jake Owen. But they look to get passed by Kenny Chesney on BB could be close I guess. If you also add the 2 set recurrents (Canaaan & Blake) also one shaky one (LBT.) There's a chance for Maddie & Tae to get into the Top 15. But that's if Little Big Town goes recurrent AND they hold off Kenny Chesney for one more week. For the record I give the girls a 15% chance but at the very worse the girls should move up to #17. Hopefully they keep this up.

I love this song. It has a beautiful melody. Definitely better than "Girl In A Country Song" both musically and lyrically.

I will admit that the song is very euphonious: great harmonies, melody, and production. As I said earlier in this thread though, the lyrics are where this falls apart entirely for me. I'm not a fan of motivational songs as it is, but this one also can't make up its mind whether it's in third or second person.

I don't see any reason why the label won't continue working this tune for several more weeks, even if it takes until sometime in September or October for this wonderful tunen to crack the Mediabase top 10.

I love this song. It has a beautiful melody. Definitely better than "Girl In A Country Song" both musically and lyrically. They are totally different songs. This one, wile I really enjoy it, is no where near the quality lyric-wise of "Girl". It is actually a kind of a trainwreck. But "Fly" is more about the feeling of the words rather than the craft of the song. MR

It took about seven months but "Fly" has officially made the top 15 this week on MB (#14), gaining 345 spins and over 2.0 million in audience.
With the album drop still three and a half weeks away, I'm positive we'll see some more conversions for "Fly" by then and this should be an easy top 10 single.

So happy for them! "Fly" is now #14 on Billboard also. This song should make it to the top 5.
