This clip is edited and very poorly at that. The full performance was great though.

She was absoutely the best performer of the night. She OWNS the stage and those vocals. YES.

Her performance was a highlight for me last night! Great cover!!!
I still play Bangerz regularly! I hope her new material has the same replay value!

Confirmed to have worked with Ariel Pink (lmao) and I LOVE MAKONNEN. The song with the latter is a country-inspired breakup anthem produced by Mike Will.
Album is still slated for 2015.

Hopefully, it's along the lines of Nude Beach A Go-Go. The dude kinda scares me and I admittedly don't know his other works (just his bad reputation and looks) but that Azealia song is fun, if for nothing but a lark. I'm glad she is sticking with Mike Will Made It because they make magic.

Ariel Pink is basically every hipster folk trope you could possibly think of thrown into a blender and served up on an Urban Outfitters playlist five years too late. Granted, if it's 'Nude Beach A Go-Go' 2.0 then I'm all for it. Miley would murder that sound, but I don't know what to expect of it so I'm a little apprehensive of that collaboration. I can see Miley gravitating to the more raw side of pop culture, I just hope she's a little more inventive than the standard.
I don't listen to Miley for anything that deep (or trying to be, anyway) and I'm not sure I'm willing to.

That's comforting. Hope the album goes a bit harder than the ironically titled Bangerz.

This needs to be discussed more. It's simultaneously the most hilarious and most terrifying "musical performance" I've heard all year. There are many aspects of this rendition that warrant mentioning, but I'd personally like to point out a) the completely silent crowd and b) the hilarity that Khia, a novelty one-barely-hit-wonder from 13 years ago, somehow resurfaces in pop culture over and over.

I'm not surprised the song keeps popping up. The absurdity of it alone makes it a fun song to cover. But Miley's version is truly awful. It's like bad karaoke. And the silence from the crowd is deafening.

This Twitter account (@cynthia_boyce) has been leaking lyrics from supposedly unreleased songs. In Miley's case, he/she posted a preview from "Nightmare", which was produced by Dr. Luke:

So, I think that Nightmare song leaked, right? Is this old news? Anyway, it's too generic and not what I would expect from Miley. IMO it sounds more like something Katy Perry would sing. I'm looking forward to Miley coming through with an innovative single.

It started of GREAT and then fell apart at the end. Either because the crowd gave her no support or maybe because she got self aware and realized she was acting a fool. However that is what i actually like about her she is fool and she know it and don't care. Love her spirit although she strikes me as a messyboots who likes to shock.

I'm not wrecking ball but bar Miley leaking the number of an anti-gay marriage senator and this, nothing is happening. 100% behind her working with the Flaming Lips though. Not corn rows, Miley...

Miley's version of My Neck, My Back was very funny. A new album from Miley will be a great thing to have!

"Sending you love" is the equivalent of "Bless their heart" from the south and "I'm praying for you"from the church

"Sending you love" is the equivalent of "Bless their heart" from the south and "I'm praying for you"from the church Tay needs to get over herself. Miley doesn't need prayer.
