Big and Rich's "Gravity" album is 1.99$ this week on Google Play! That's a helluva deal because, in my opinion, it's a fantastic album.

Their version still fails to do anything for me. For some reason, I really like Michael Ray's though. The same thing happened to me with "Cop Car;" wasn't a fan of Keith's, but liked Sam Hunt's.

Heads up people this has to re-bullet this Monday on BB. Is it looking like it's about to go sabre14It's close as of Friday. "Run Away With You" has actually increased a full 400k in audience on MB this week but has seen a 4 spin increase on W1MC (Westwood One) over the past seven days, which of course doesn't translate to Billboard. One spin on that station accounts for roughly 100k in audience, so that likely means this songs is close to breaking even on Billboard. Either way, whether this song leaves on Billboard this week or the next 1-2 weeks, this one looks to not get much higher on either chart. New Revolution once again has done a marvelous job in promotion as this song had poor sales and little buzz for the duration if its chart run.

"Run Away With You" lost 18 spins and 100k in total audience this week and with no adds recently I would have to think Kenny & John/New Revolution will throw in the towel either this week or next week. I guess they could attempt a top 20 peak but Chris Young and Tim McGraw are closing in and this song would need to hold on for at least another 2-3 weeks, which is hard since the gains have basically come to a halt.

Hope this goes away soon. I like it a lot and I've also been hearing it quite a bit on radio (which I don't mind), but this is really something that I'd like to see peak sooner rather than later and free up chart space. It's really not something that I feel should go any higher, honestly.

This one is not that great to me. First of all I always think when the intro is on that it sounds just like "Don't You Want to Stay". Also it isn't very much of a stylistic difference from "Look At You". I actually liked that one. I will say that Big and Rich have a fairly unique or distinctive vocal/harmony arrangement. But on the whole, for a couple of guys who put out some really outlandish and different (in a good way) stuff, this album seems pretty generic so far.

New Revolution appears to be fighting for a top 20 peak as "Run Away With You" is up over 100 spins and 700k in audience this week. Kenny and John should land at #21 on MB tomorrow with "House Party" going recurrent and "Like A Wrecking Ball" falling below. If "Run Away With You" can stay alive for one more week, there's reasonable shot it'll be a top 20 single (at least on MB) on September 27th since Brothers Osborne and Jason Aldean are too far back to be guaranteed to pass; but when a song is fighting to stay alive, it's hard to stay ahead of most everyone.
This might be the most uneventful top 20 (or close to it, lol) single I can remember. I've heard this on the radio only a small handful of times, there's no buzz and the sales have been sub-par.

That's funny because I've heard this on the radio so much, lol. I'm a little bummed that this is holding on still (hopefully not much longer though at least) because I really wish they'd just let it go... even though I do like this song.

I hear it quite a bit as well. Almost daily! I like the song too, but I am glad to see it may hit top 20 before they let it go. I am just shocked Big & Rich has managed to do this well with two singles in a row, so as long as they continue to release good music I will enjoy it because at this point in their career, who knows if they will ever get two top 20 singles in a row again...

The Highway doesn't play this one (which is what I regularly listen to) and WYRK has it in light rotation (my local terrestrial station).

No real need when you live somewhere like Kansas, either, lol. There's even a station here that plays Texas country at night. :o And there was one (same one or different one idk) that played throwbacks like all day recently and idk if that's a regular thing or not but I loved it. Plus, from what little I've heard of The Highway from being in this one family friend's car, I don't think I'm missing much aside from the occasional female song that terrestrial radio largely ignores.

Lol, to be honest I usually listen to Y2Kountry (2000's) and Prime Country (80's and 90's). I still listen to The Highway but their playlist can be extremely infuriating.

We have XM in my wife's car so I get to listen to it some. Prime country and Y2Country definitely get more time than the Highway. Although the Bridge probably gets more playing time than all the others combined!

"Run Away With You" will officially be a top 20 single on MB come Sunday as Big & Rich have increased nearly 100 spins and 800k in total audience this week -- moving to #19 on the rolling chart. They can do no worse than #20 since Jake Owen and Lady An have already fallen below and "Crash And Burn" is going recurrent, so even if Brothers Osborne and Parmalee leap them between now and Sunday, they'll be top 20 regardless. They'll likely be top 20 on Billboard as well (they were only 34k in audience away from achieving a top 20 placement this past week).
New Revolution should let this one go once they get that top 20 though. I don't see this song doubling its Billboard audience or gaining another 18 million or so on MB, with its age and sales. It's been charting for 39 weeks. I'm really impressed with just how well NR has promoted their last two singles.

I am truly amazed that this has managed to hang on for a Top 20 peak I know this can't do the near impossible that Look At You did but I'm really happy Big & Rich has managed to hold on for a Top 20 finish. Kudos to them for holding on this long. I sincerely hope that this song does leave in the coming weeks as well there's just really no way they will be able to reach those top 10 audience peaks but I still am very happy for them.

New Revolution hasn't let this one go yet. "Run Away With You" gained 77 spins and nearly 350k in audience today, which actually accounts for all of its gains from this past Sunday. It's sales have been pretty bad the whole way up the chart and the research has been pedestrian, so it's just insane to have this one still be gaining at 41 weeks charting.
If Kenny and John can stay ahead of Parmalee (another song I would like to see give up the fight) until Sunday, they will make the MB top 15 and I would have to imagine this would would plummet by then.

^ Still, 8 and 15? That's better than most of their WBR singles did.
The fact that Holy Water was not a #1 will forever confuse me. That song was moving at a good clip, but then it kicked into reverse right after it hit #15. I think it actually had to spend a few more weeks falling before it hit the then-20 week limit.

Lol, New Revolution isn't done with "Run Away With You". The ad in Country Aircheck this evening is expressing their desire to hit the top 10, since it would be the first time New Revolution would promote back-to-back singles, into the top 10 on the singles chart.
Obviously, Kenny and John have given them the green light (money) to go ahead and try for a top 10 single but man, that's asking a lot from radio since this one is 41 weeks old, has had pedestrian testing and sold poorly.

This is getting ridiculous. New Revolution's top 10 efforts should just stop because country radio is ready and has been ready to let go of "Run Away With You", for quite some time. Kenny and John have been leaped by Thomas Rhett, Parmalee, LoCash and Jana Kramer over the past two weeks. Its only gained 100 spins and 1.4 million in audience over those two weeks and the road to the top 10 has gotten more difficult with each passing day. I know they made their intentions known in Country Aircheck on October 26th that they were gunning for a top 10 finish but this single shouldn't have ever graced the top 20, let alone the top 10.
I really like this song and I'm a bigger fan of this duo than most others but this single continuing to be pushed is stupid.

The fact that this is still going and hasn't gone away yet is making me hate this song. Like I literally can't stand that it's still charting and that it even made the Top 20, honestly. I wanna know who Big & Rich are doing sexual favors for to keep this one going at this point.

The end is here, lol. "Run Away With You" lost nearly 300k in audience today and broke even in total audience on MB this week while losing 47 spins. Since Big & Rich have fallen to #16, I'm fully expecting New Revolution to mercifully throw in the towel.

While I am glad that this is done. I do hope that Big & Rich can still be a presence on Country Radio because I've always really liked all their songs and I'm hopeful they can keep having a decent amount of success. I'd be sad if Big & Rich got phased out of country radio. Also .indulgecountry your talking about Run Away With You not Big & Rich themselves right. No offense

Yay! Now if we can get "21" off the charts we can finally have at least SOME freakin' room on the charts.
As for the song itself, it wasn't good, wasn't bad. Just average, which is strange for these guys.

I too hope Kenny and John can stay relevant on radio. My hopes though aren't high though since they don't sell and the live shows they perform consists of small fairs and casinos. They're also not getting any younger and are independent artists. The only thing going for them is that they both are well off financially, so that's why they are able to keep pumping money into radio promotion. I get the impression that they wanted to be out of their contract with Warner Bros. Nashville for a while and they got a perfect excuse with John Esposito saying they would need to wait on releasing new music back in 2013.
I always forget they're still getting massive airplay on 2015 country radio (I would sometimes forget that "Run Away With You" was charting, lol) and they are the only ones who are still viable in the spotlight from the Muzik Mafia, even though James Otto has recently hooked on with Blaster Records.

You'd be surprised at how much they get paid by "Small fairs and Casinos" to play. Roughly high 5 figures to low 6 figures per show.

There's no doubt they get a hefty payday for those venues but in terms of helping them with a long run at radio? I don't know how long that can last. I will say that their partnership with New Revolution has been great so far and they proved me wrong with the airplay success of "Look At You" and "Run Away With You", so who knows, maybe they can get a few more hits.
