The more I think about the potential that this has, the more I'm thinking that this is going to be a super huge hit. I'm ready

I'm calling it now. This will be a Max Martin produced smash. He produced Ariana Grande's lead "Problem" which features Iggy. He would be the most logical guess for producer in this scenario. I really hope Britney has recorded more than 50% of the album with Max. She definitely needs big hits this era. Not album fodder that "Britney Jean" had. Max Martin would be perfect. However I have a feeling it's not him though because Iggy loves him and she had an interview last month and didn't mention anything about it while talking about Max: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWWxI5YJT0UShe only mentioned having worked with him for Problem in LA earlier this year and wanting to do it again for her second album and I'm pretty sure if she had already worked with him she'd have mentioned/dropped a hint. She recorded the Britney feature back in September while she was in London for sure, these posts were about it: instagram.com/p/tEf4O4rqC4/ instagram.com/p/tEzhyMrqFC/ + Wasn't Britney rumored to work with Disclosure at some point last year? Idk I just have a feeling the producer/s might be UK-based but then again it prob means nothing since Iggy also said she hasn't met Britney yet so they probably haven't recorded their parts in the same place. Either way hopefully it's real good & lives up to the expectations of a collab from the Princesses of Pop and Rap! I trust Iggy and she said it's "undeniably great" so I guess we'll just have to wait & see/hear

I'm not feeling this at all not even from the rumor days. Why does Brit feel she has to jump on a bandwagon? How about another Nicki or some unexpected hit rapper... I hope it does not flop knowing it's done. She needs to go urban pop/ euro pop for this. Dr. Luke to play it safe. This is where she either goes Madonna route or Janet route. Prefer Madonna... Seeing Janet flopped hard.

Britney, Kelly, and Madonna all dropping lead singles in January? I feel like Rihanna is just around the corner of 2015 too. Since when did Q1 become the new Q4? And more importantly...WHY?

This needs to be released to iTunes December 28. The song would definitely capitalize on the surge of iTunes giftcard usage right after Christmas. Does anyone else think she could potentially drop an exclusive album with iTunes like Beyonce. Britney and her team have been so tight lipped about this album. Not much info has been released and then you have Iggy saying the song is coming out soon. It's an odd situation. I know Apple have been hinting in the past that a major female artist would follow Beyonce's route. Most think it's going to be Madonna but maybe it's Britney.

She'd be the last one in on the surprise lbr. And she will be smart, because surprise releases are dangerous, if it goes well there's a lot of buzz, but if it goes bad it will damage the whole era

Glad that the Iggy collab is still intact. I'm really looking forward to this. Sometimes I wish Britney would do more hot collaborations because she hardly ever does them, and Iggy is an artist I'm pretty excited for her to be doing a song with.

And let's be real both were just cheap remixes to get the songs to #1. Not exactly a genuine collaboration.

I'm literally thrilled britney is almost confirmed with a single for 2015. I want her to prove she's still a valuable pop Piece at radio. And to be honest I want to know if she still got it... (dance queen)

I know what you mean about "genuine" and I agree, but Brit's still been working with more artists recently whether it's just for a remix or otherwise. She was on Miley's album, will.i.am's smash single, and earlier in her career she had songs with Madonna, Pharrell, and that douchey ex of hers Justin Timberlake. Even for "genuine" LP-version collabos, I'm sure we all have a tough time envisioning Britney and a duet partner bouncing ideas off one another in a studio and cooking up some music the organic way. Britney Spears, not unlike her two teenage influencers Janet Jackson and Madonna, had a multi-era peak as a major brand and didn't need supporting acts to sell her singles. All three pop icons opened up to the idea later in their runs, but when all is said and done there are still plenty of examples of "Britney Spears featuring ____" that we've accumulated over the years.

So Britney is going down the Christina Aguilera/Jennifer Lopez route to try to secure airplay with hot collaborations? I have to say its better than nothing...which is exactly what we got with her last era. Best of luck to her, but I'm just not so sure this will cut it...especially if they are relying on Iggy to bring in the smash factor. Iggy's collabo with J.lo "Booty" failed to take off on radio, and Iggy herself hasn't had a hit single since "Black Widow" peaked last September. I think her momentum was a fluke.
But best of luck to Britney anyway. Even if she scores a hit, most of her songs are short lived so if you are bothered by this just wait about a month or so and it will most likely be crashing.

What bothers me most about this post is how you can predict the future. Well...am I wrong? How long did "Hold It Against Me" last? "Work Bitch"? "Gimme More"? I can make the exception for "Womanizer" but that was a different time of her career where the media was rooting for her to make a comeback. Things have drastically changed now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't "Till The World Ends", "I Wanna Go" & "Scream & Shout" have long runs on radio? These came after the songs you mentioned.
