Lead single to his upcoming album of the same name (due out February 24), available on iTunes now. Not sure which format to put it on since Kid Rock is pretty much all over the place.
Really liking this surprisingly. Haven't liked a Kid Rock song since "All Summer Long".

I think this will end up being a radio single and a successful one at that. Could definitely see this being a sleeper hit. Really enjoy this one from Kid Rock.

I absolutely love Picture and All Summer Long, but I'm struggling to see where this song fits in on today's radio. I can't see it taking off like those tunes did.

Not that familiar with a lot of Kid Rock's material, but I love this on first listen. Definitely a good song and I'm curious about how the rest of the album will sound since it's being pegged as his countriest effort to date. At any rate though, this has a similar multi-genre appeal to it that "All Summer Long" had, so I could see this possibly doing some damage at several different formats the way that one did. That's what I'd like to see happen at least, because this is a good song.

Oh wow, I was NOT expecting something that good from him at this stage in his career. I hope Active pays this the attention it deserves, but I somehow doubt it.

Early Kid Rock through 2008 was great, but his last 2 albums were kind of bland and boring. But this is a really good song, kind of like a slightly more rocking version of a Born Free. I think this would fit best on country radio personally, but I would love to see Active give this some spins as well.

"Got my first real six-string......" In all seriousness, this song is pretty good. Might be a sleeper hit, but would depend on if the country crowd would enjoy this.

It's already getting some curiosity spins at country radio. I also am surprised to hear this quality of song from him this late into his career but it looks like Kid Rock may just be that guy who can drop a mega smash single every few years. I see this doing very well just not sure on what format (I'm betting country)

The overall response to this song in both rock and country forums on a Pulse has been very strong, so I'm really hoping that leads to another big hit from Kid Rock. He still is extremely distinctive, and songs with a bit of nostalgia still seem to do fairly well on the charts.

Tweener. It's Kid Rock, and it's got stack of cash behind it, so it'll get on. But whoever plays it - pick a format - will have to stretch to do it.

I'll throw in a ridiculous WTF ALTERNATIVE here. still more country than Taylor Swift. Still more country than half the country chart. I dare you to go to any thread in the country forum for a song by Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Parmalee, Cole Swindell, etc and say: "Boy, this guy/these guys is/are a big reason as to why country music is as great as it is right now."

No, "this guy" or "these guys" referring to the particular country act/band the thread is about. It was a joke, don't actually do it, because you will get torn a new one even for joking about it there lol.

I've liked some recent Kid Rock stuff but I just heard this and I thought it was average at best. His voice sounds very rough on it even for him. I'll definitely skip this one.

Everyone's talking about this hitting Top 50 on AC and Active but no one's brought up how it's already about to hit Top 30 on Rock. 14 spins too!

I've always had a soft spot for Kid Rock's music. Mostly his old school stuff from "Devils Without A Cause" and "The History of Rock." I did like "All Summer Long" and some of his other recent singles as well. This is really good and I hope it does well on some format. Probably Hot AC I'd assume. I'm pretty surprised that this already has charted on Active, but he typically does well on there. However, for this kind of song with a country feel to it, that's interesting.

This needs to fucking die as SOON as possible. No one is more talentless and despicable than this person and hopefully this does nothing like past singles.

Lol did Kid Rock steal your girlfriend or something? And for the record, he's actually really good at rocking the turntables, hence where his name comes from.

He's not my most hated person or "musician" because he has a diamond album somehow he is because his "music" is the worst on the planet.

Hey, this is allright. Pretty Damn Good actually. It's more of a Heartland Country vibe than rock, but from the good side of Country. Plus he mentions Tom Petty, so it is Heartland Rock by heart.

In the thread for Florida Georgia Line's latest single, I suggested the country posters grade FGL's singles, and roughly half of them generally gave really bad grades for their songs.

He's not my most hated person or "musician" because he has a diamond album somehow he is because his "music" is the worst on the planet. Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fact of the matter is this. He has sold over 25 million albums in the US alone, he has a diamond certification post 1995, which is extremely difficult to pull off, and has made music to appeal to fans of 4 different genre groups (rock, country, hip hop, pop). Hell, as much as I like this song I'll admit that there are several Kid Rock songs that I don't really like at all, but given the evidence, to say his music is the worst on the planet, question whether or not it is really "music", and thus imply that he has no talent is just factually incorrect.
