Well I'm glad everyone can make fun of me. But seriously I was just saying I wanted it higher than top 30 because they deserve that but thanks for the banter directed at me instead of talking about the song. I think it's all in good fun and based on what I know about everyone here, they wouldn't mean anything with bad intent. Everyone here is very passionate about music and artists and *most* of us appreciate some good sarcasm now and then.

Don't love this, but it is catchy. For some reason I think this has a lot more life in it. I'm thinking Top 10 It's doing quite well on The Highway and feels like it can be a big seller once it hits Top 30. Their likely next single, "Shipwrecked" is even better.

This song is starting to take off. "I Love This Life" is up 100 spins and roughly 600k in audience this week (200k of it today) and has climbed to #38 on the MB rolling chart. Reviver Records has gotten 10 adds the past two weeks and I'm expecting more this upcoming Monday. Its sales have obviously been helping as "I Love This Life" is #54 on the Country iTunes chart and #267 on the all-genre chart.
While 22 weeks old is not something that should be looked at as "young", it's not to the point where that should hinder it either. I think this song could be top 20 bound when all is said and done.

The music video for "I Love This Life" will be released very shortly. It was filmed in the "Garden of the Gods" in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I really "love this song". Toby Keith, take heart......with the right song, perhaps you can accomplish what LoCash did

It really wouldn't matter what song Toby released, his days at radio are numbered and Show Dog holds almost no clout with radio. Reviver Records has a ton of veteran radio people heading up their promotion department and this song is selling very well, and has tested well with listeners -- its just a radio-friendly tune that has been able to hold on long enough to catch on for a second wind. "I Love This Life" has gained 90 spins and nearly 700k in audience this week, with six new adds. At this point, I'd be surprised if this song missed the top 20 and I expect their album announcement to be coming soon.

It may or may not have the next single on it (probably not). The next single is likely to be "Shipwrecked" which, as I've said in this thread, is an even better song and a likely smash (ballad with mid tempo groove and strong harmonies). These guys have had tons of good will with radio too. Radio's wanted to support 'em (as evidenced by many of the previous singles scraping the Top 60 of Billboard) but never have they really had the team they have now in every aspect of their career (publishers, label, management, booking agents). But, like you said, as good as their team is, it's taken a song like this (and a huge support via SiriusXM's The Highway).

I don't know their plans but I would want to release a full length album if I was them or their label. An EP made sense a couple months ago but the song is on the cusp of the top 30 and will likely go farther. The song is selling well and I would want to take advantage. These two always drove me nuts. They have shown the ability to make great country music but still churn out some real duds sometimes like "C.O.U.N.T.R.Y." or "Little Miss Crazy Hot." It's a shame that "Best Seat In The House" was a single off Average Joes because that's one of the best songs on country radio in the past 5-10 years.

LoCash (previously the LoCash Cowboys) achieve their first top 30 radio single as "I Love This Life" lands at #29 on Billboard Airplay this week.

I think this one is heading for a top 10 peak (even if it takes over 40 weeks to get there). "I Love This Life" is at #27 on Billboard Airplay this week and sits at #31 on MB. It has gained over 1.0 million in MB audience the past week and is testing pretty well, with sales that have been solid through its chart run, and will only get better. Reviver a couple months back hired a full promotion staff for radio and that seems to have given this one some extra help. I know they intended on an EP release (which rsmatto mentioned) but I would have to imagine we'll get a full-length album at some point since "I Love This Life" is showing no sign of stalling right now and is selling great.

Yeah, It might seem right to go full length album release now, even if I think EPs make more sense in the current world than full length projects do.

For the first time LoCash now not only have a Top 30 on BB but they look to land at #29 on Mediabase. The sky's the limit for this song and I am so excited to see how this song does. I am hoping for a Top 20 but man those weeks have really piled on now I Love This Life will be on week 30 for tomorrow BB that's such a long time.
Regardless I have grown to love this song sure it's nothing in the lyrical department but man this song is so catchy and such a singalong I consider it a guilty pleasure.

There's no way this one misses the top 10. I know its 31 weeks old but as country radio has proven to us over recent years, they really don't care about that if everything else (research, sales) is clicking. "I Love This Life" is up nearly 200 spins and 1.2 million in audience on MB this week and will most likely be top 25, with it already being close to the top 20 on Billboard.
There's a couple songs that are being taken out of rotation or being drastically lowered in rotation this week and a few more to come in the immediate weeks, so that's good news for songs in the mid 20's looking for conversions. I know this song has been out forever but right now is when the quicker portion of the chart run usually comes.

Finally heard this. Nothing mind blowing but solidly constructed, catchy, and distinctive enough not to fade into the background. Best Seat in the House and Keep in Mind were better but I like these guys.

I like this song too. I've been a huge supporter of Locash since their first single, "Here Comes Summer" hit the radio airwaves in 2010. Glad to see they finally are on a label that can get them a hit song. Reviver is a newer label, so I am super surprised how well they are promoting "I Love This Life".

They have 2 radio teams working this single and had a huge bit of goodwill at radio. They lost a record deal when "Keep In Mind" was rising the charts (it closed) and they had a solid album without the ability to get radio succcess while with Average Joes. The EP is fantastic and at least 3 hits are ready on it. roughstock.com/news/2015/10/39107-locash-i-love-this-life-ep-review

This has become one of my least favorite songs out there. Annoying production, cliche, redneck lyrics, you name it. I don't even find this slightly catchy, but of course the generic cliche song is the one that gets them in the spotlight, not their actual good songs like "Keep In Mind" and "Best Seat In The House". Just another mainstream act who's capable of more and chooses to record crap. Sigh....

Release a ballad to radio? Also their name is all caps.

I didn't mean to thrash these guys, they seem like good guys. I'm just disappointed that THIS song is the one that became a hit for them. Hopefully it means we get something like "Best Seat" as a single in the future.

"Shipwrecked" is a pretty darn good song. I haven't heard the studio version however. Nothing will beat "Best Seat In The House" though. That would have been a song of the year contender if sung by a more established artist on a major label.

"Shipwrecked" has a bit of an EDM-like pulse to it so some may not like the melody because of that but it's still a great song IMO. I do hope "Best Seat" makes the full album or next EP they put out.

LoCash was performing at an acoustic show in Buffalo tonight and made mention that "Shipwrecked" will be their next single.

Are you guys joking about an EDM sound on "Shipwrecked"?

"I Love This Life" will land at #12 on MB this Sunday, which likely means that this will become LoCash's first top 10 single by the first week of December, at the latest.
I gave their EP a listen yesterday and while there's a track or two I don't think are good ("Drunk Drunk"), I really enjoyed "Till The Wheels Fall Off"...that's one of the best songs I've ever heard from them.
