Ahhh yes, I had almost forgotten about Thompson Square until a few days ago when I was like "wait a minute, I haven't heard anything from them in awhile." I am beyond ready for their third project!

Well with the Target edition having the two bonus tracks that are written by Brandy, I'll definitely be getting that.

Kristian Bush, Reba, Dean Brody...they all sound like great albums. April is going to be a good month.

According to his website and RMEF outfitters , Daryle Singletary will release " There's Still A Little Country Left" on March 30. It will be digital and physical copy. There are 11 songs on the track list. Somehow you can get a bonus track of a long lost duet between him and Johnny Paycheck.
Can't wait for this ...one of the best vocalists around period. March/April is shaping up to be decent. No really big acts but a lot of indie and icon type albums.

Sorry for the double post. Per his Twitter and facebook , Jason Michael carroll's long awaited kickstarter album comes out may 5. It was a cryptic message as far as the album title. Something along the lines of "what color is your sky?"
Good day along with Chris Stapleton album

His new album has been streaming on his site for over a month but I had heard through a source that was at the session that he recorded "Only Hell My Mama Raised" with a long lost Paycheck overdub and was worried for whatever reason it wasnt going to be on the album as it wasnt on his site.

Daryle recorded one of my favorite songs of all time cause it pretty much summarizes why I fell in love with Country music and what I believe it truly is and should always be. This is nearly as powerful as George Jones' "Whose Gonna Fill their Shoes."

I'm excited to listen to Kelsea Ballerini's new album. Now all I need is details on Maddie & Tae's album and i'll be set for awhile. Does anybody know where the new pop albums page is on this site?

This is nearly as powerful as George Jones' "Whose Gonna Fill their Shoes." Glad to see I'm not the only one who is familiar with and loves this song. Amazing, powerful song. If you guys don't have his two covers albums ( I Still Sing This Way and Straight From the Heart), get them ASAP. The former (rightfully) made The 9513's Top Albums of the Decade list, and the latter is every bit as good. His cover of Johnny Paycheck's "Old Violin" is pretty much one of the best songs I have ever heard.

^ Absolutely! I put it up there with Paychecks original version. Its just heartbreaking when Johnny comes in at the end. Chicken skin. Every. Single. Time.

You can order it for 10 bucks on RMEF website but it doesn't have the Paycheck duet on there. I'm not sure if there will be different tracks on the one in March or not.

A fan tweeted Martina last week to ask if there were going to be any shows in April. Martina responded, "We are taking April off to record! So sorry. Where are you going to be?"
I think that means we can probably expect a single in May/June, and the album in late summer/early fall! The fact that they are setting aside a whole month specifically to work on the album leads me to think that she is not going to waste any time getting this music into our hands! Compared to putting together bits and pieces here and there whenever she is home between shows, which could take forever.

Looks like the Easton Corbin and Josh Turner albums won't get released next month. No confirmation one way or the other, but we most likely would have heard by now if those albums were coming out in March. The singles just aren't high enough on the charts yet.

I can confirm that both projects have been pulled from UMG's site that merchandisers use to purchase from.

Blackberry Smoke are gearing up to release a new album. Holding All the Roses, the band’s first on Rounder Records, will be available on Feb. 10. The band decided to leave Zac Brown’s Southern Ground label after a shakeup at the label. The followup to their 2012 release The Whippoorwill, Holding All the Roses was produced by Brendan O’Brien (The Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Bruce Springsteen).
Singer-songwriter Charlie Starr said Holding All the Roses defines who the band is. “I think that this record does a really good job of conveying what we do and what we’re about,” Starr said. “People who enjoyed the ride of The Whippoorwill and the way those songs flowed, these are more up and down.”
The Whippoorwill was the Atlanta band’s most successful to date, peaking at No. 8 on the U.S. country albums chart via Billboard and spawning their first radio airplay charter in “Pretty Little Lie.”
Holding All The Roses Track List
1. Let Me Help You (Find the Door) 2. Holding All the Roses 3. Living in the Song 4. Rock and Roll Again 5. Woman in the Moon 6. Too High 7. Wish in One Hand 8. Randolph County Farewell 9. Payback’s a Bitch 10. Lay It All on Me 11. No Way Back to Eden 12. Fire in the Hole
This is the #1 selling country CD with 19,000 sold.

I'm not sure this will stick as a title but Canaan Smith said last night at his show that his full length album comes out this summer and will be called "Bronco". It will be in honor of his brother who passed away when he was younger and is also a name of a song that he wrote for him that will be on the album as well. ^ I get the feeling Farce The Music could have a field day with that album cover.
In all seriousness though I love AGWIAB and hope that Tyler keeps it on the traditional side despite the somewhat creepy cover.
