According to Hits Daily Double, easton Corbin's album Comes out may 19 and Montgomery gentrys album is out june 2. These folks are usually right except for Toby Keith's 35 mph town coming out March 3 lol
I expect we should be hearing a date for josh turners album soon, hopefully Lay Low keeps climbing. We should also see a slew of lead singles announced right around ACM time... Luke Bryan , Thomas Rhett, Brett Eldredge , randy houser , Chris young etc. Should be a packed late summer / fall release schedule

Tyler Farr-Suffer In Peace (April 28th) Tracklisting: 1. C.O.U.N.T.R.Y. - Chris Tompkins/Craig Wiseman/Rodney Clawson I can't at this song title. But Rodney Clawson co-wrote that so I'm not surprised after all. Reminds me of Travis Tritt, who had an album and single called T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Or Joe Diffie who had a single titled C.O.U.N.T.R.Y ;)

That song was Joe at his goofiest but was fun.....

Buddy Jewell Signs With Lamon Records- Plans New Record In June Source
Press Release:
Just over a decade ago, singer Buddy Jewell captivated “Nashville Star” viewers and was voted America’s first winner of the hit reality TV show. He rose over eleven other contestants, including country music darling Miranda Lambert, by two million votes, securing his spot in television and music history.
He signed with Columbia Records and his self-titled album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Country Album Chart and brought forth two top-five hits. “Sweet Southern Comfort” and “Help Pour Out the Rain” have both received over 1 million radio spins.
Jewell has been recognized has being recognized by the Grammy’s, ACM’s, CMA’s and CMT with multiple award nominations. He won the International Country Gospel Music Associations’s “Entertainer of the Year” and “Crossover Artist of the Year” awards in 2011.
Now, Jewell has signed with Lamon Records, partnering with one of the oldest indie labels in Nashville to record a classic country project in 2015.
Jewell met Lamon Records’ producer and CEO Dave Moody at this past year’s George Shinn Foundation’s “Shinn-dig” at Lipscomb University where they were both performing for the TV Special that aired in Nashville on Christmas day.
“When Dave first approached me, it was like he was reading my mind… it was meant to be,” Jewell says. “I’d been toying with the idea of doing a classic country cover project and had actually begun picking out material in advance. One of the tunes I was strongly considering was George Hamilton IV’s “Abilene” written by songwriting legend J.D. Loudermilk. I’ve ALWAYS loved that tune. While talking to Dave, I became aware of Mr. Hamilton’s and Mr. Loudermilk’s friendship with the Moodys and Lamon Records. That helped to seal the deal for me.”
In addition to his singing and songwriting, the Arkansas native is a philanthropist, supporting such organizations as The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, The World Orphans Day Foundation, Compassion International, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Jewell has also performed for our US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a proud father, husband and follower of Christ.
“Buddy has always been one of my favorite country vocalist,” says Moody. “And he’s such a great guy too. We’re really looking forward to working together.”
“I am especially excited to be part of the Lamon family,” says Jewell, “because we share the same basic values: God, country and family. Lamon has a fantastic track record and more importantly to me, a great reputation inside the music industry. I am extremely proud to be affiliated with them and I look forward to our initial release and to the beginning of what I hope to be a long and lasting friendship.”
Buddy Jewell will begin recording with Moody and some of Nashville’s finest session musicians this Spring. Look for his new album to be released before CMA Music Fest in June. For more information, visit www.buddyjewell.com and www.lamonrecords.com. Keep up to date on the artist and label on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

I think this news excites me (almost) more than the releases of Maddie and Tae's and Kristian Bush's debut albums put together. I don't care that it's a covers album - it's still new music.

What Color Is Your Sky Tracklist: All I’m Drinking ‘Bout God Only Knows What Color Is Your Sky Here’s To
Love Like July Does He Know ‘Til The Speakers Blow Civil War Urgency Blown Away We Ride Close Enough
Here With Me Painting Pictures Waste Their Life – Demo Version Independent country singer/songwriter Jason Michael Carroll today announced his upcoming album What Color is Your Sky. The album features 15 tracks and will be self-issued on his own For The Lonely Records label. The singer’s last full-length project was released in 2011. This will be his fourth release and features the just-released single “God Only Knows.” The album features a collection of songs which talk about life, love, good times, pain and simple ways of life, all told by Carroll’s identifiable baritone voice and storytelling. roughstock.com/news/2015/03/33632-jason-michael-carroll-color-sky-tracklist-cover-art/

^ Amazing cover, glad that Jason is able to get this album out on his own, I agree, his voice makes even bad songs sound good. I totally forgot what an amazing song "This Is For The Lonely" is :)

Oh. I was about to say that's one of the worst album covers I've ever seen, but I'm glad y'all like it Lol, you aren't alone. Jason looks like he was photographed in two different positions and then they were combined (his legs just don't look right coming out of his body like that -- he looks like he has dwarfism). And that sky and font combination are a Big & Rich type of campy, imo.
Buffalo*: The article does not say 106K sold; Billboard now talks of "units" and we do not know how much TEA/SEA is included
This is the part of the Billboard article that mentions Luke Bryan: Luke Bryan rounds out the trio of debuts in the new top 10, as his latest spring break-themed album, Spring Break…Checkin' Out, starts at No. 3 with 106,000 units. Over on the Top Country Albums chart, the set enters at No. 1, giving Bryan his fifth chart-topper. Of his five No. 1s, three of them have been part of his spring break-themed series of releases. Seeing since the 106,000 number is the only one there, that is the only number I can go by. I'll see what Roughstock has to say about it today or tomorrow. Roughstock was fast. 89,000 were actually sold: roughstock.com/news/2015/03/33640-country-album-chart-report-march-18-2015/

^^ Was no criticism! You should know me better than that. My stance is only: Anything sales related and to do with The Billboard 200 should not go by the term "sold" any longer. Billboard "Top Album Sales" uses pure sales data; and the genre album charts, also. Eager to know the pure sales for "Empire", Madonnna and Luke Bryan and how much TEA/SEA was factored in for the main chart.

The fonts are odd, but hey - it's an independent release. At least it is new music from JMC. Very excited about the new record.
