I checked Dogstarradio today - a website that lets you search SiriusXM playlists - and I looked at KIIS-FM and Z100, both of which have channels on SiriusXM.
NEITHER OF THEM HAVE ADDED THIS SONG.
THAT DISTURBS ME.

I think Dogstar has had issues lately, though I haven't confirmed or denied that very recently. This is the song that ALL of the mothers and grandmothers are going to like in three months, and you're going to be rolling your eyes and think of how overplayed this song is and how sick of it you are. Just warning you in advance. Man, this is too accurate.

I was listening to my iPod on shuffle and this popped up. I said "no!" and hit next so fast. I guess it's safe to say that this has officially burned on me.

Well people like it because it's been consistently in the Top 10 at ITunes. LoL at the comments about mother's liking it because my mother started getting into it after seeing it performed on "Dancing With The Stars. I bought it but I go backmand forth with it. Sometimes I'm sick of it then a week later I'm into it again. lol

To listen to the Today show this week, you'd think this was a number one smash. They were treating him like they treated Robin Thicke with Blurred Lines. Maybe the message of this one just resonated with them more.

As much as I still love this song (and the success he's having), I'm really hoping this team is carefully setting the stages for the follow-up single. His album deserves to have a long era a la OneRepublic!
Really wonder if they're gonna re-release "Back Home" or maybe try "Kamikaze" (one of the 2 new Target deluxe bonus tracks - make those fans repurchase the album!)?

As much as I love the album, I really feel the only choice is for him to repush "Back Home". I don't see anything working as well as this did. I would say "Red Eye", but that's one of the least popular songs on the album. "Sinner" is great, but it won't do much, and "Pushing" isn't totally radio friendly. I'm interested in what they're going to do next though.

Right now this is the oldest song on the Pop charts, but should go recurrent tomorrow. I'm really surprised at how well this did, and happy for Andy despite the high burn rate I experienced with this. I hope this paves the way for more hits for him, but I think "Hallelujah" (if they stick with that) will determine his future on Pop radio.
