For some reason I'm expecting Carrie to just mail it in for a video and take the easy approach. But she continues to deliver great music videos and this one looks like its going to be among her best, which would be saying something. Can't wait.

Carrie is making videos that are becoming events, experiences. Ever since Blown Away her video quality has gone through the roof. I really hope this video, which looks great gets recognition at the award shows. I cant stand how good she is, just keeps getting better.

I've been listening to this song over and over again lately. Leave it to one of the only two prominent women in this genre, whom which is eight months pregnant, doesn't have an in-person appearance scheduled for the next 4+ months, and is on a "break" with a Greatest Hits era, to be releasing some of the most innovative and unique music that this format has seen in over a year -- probably since the period of "dark" hits with "Blown Away", LBT's "Tornado", and TBP's "Better Dig Two". I'm being completely unbiased when I say that she's the most important artist for the Country genre in the format today. I'm sitting with bated breath for Friday. I won't say a thing about the video because the last time I did ("Blown Away"), my expectations were met, and toppled, all the way until the very end of the video when the most eventful part of the song is paired with a happy-rainbow-sunshine setting that'll forever anger me. So, the superstitious side of me is going to keep his mouth shut until Friday.

I can't wait to see the video! The preview looks incredible! I've said this before but Carrie is this century's Reba in regards to music videos. It must be something in the water...in Oklahoma!

I agree that Carrie's music video quality has been through the roof ever since "Blown Away". I can't wait for this one, and I can't wait for the next full era either. Knowing that Carrie wrote the full video treatment for "Somethin' Bad" (which is absolutely fantastic) makes me wonder how much more involved she's going to become on her own videos going forward. She has such a creative eye for videos, which also makes me excited for that "Two Black Cadillacs" miniseries she's involved in.

This release appears incredibly promising. I mean, I obviously anticipated that considering her continued airplay success, but it's always thrilling. She only tweeted once and that sent the song into the upper ranks of iTunes. The video looks to have been executed brilliantly. She may not have time for promotional interviews and appearances now, but this song may not need much help. I can't wait.

Beyond excited for the video. Her latest videos have been her best and from the preview this one is looking to follow suit. Also, I'm impressed at its iTunes performance so far. It's definitely exciting to see this already having some degree of success.

Really like this and the video looks like it'll be great. Great start on iTunes, I think this'll do better than "Something In The Water". Hopefully it'll go platinum at least! :)

Another sneak peek at the video:
I love the look of the colored smoke in the forest.

Her best single since Blown Away for me. Could see this one making it's way to my top 5 of her singles eventually. Oh and this really should be pushed eventually to HAC/CHR, but of course it won't be.

Is it possible, could it be, LTG COULD be even bigger than SITW. When the GH album was released, LTG was my favorite new song, but just by a tad. I think it has a better hook and a message that everyone can relate to.

Idk what's wrong with your link, but this link works: www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10153035896539568&pnref=storyETA: Oh and the video is great. I love the way that forest looks with the colored smoke everywhere. Nifty idea. And Carrie looks great. The video has a sort of autumn feel to it, which I guess makes sense given that this was filmed months ago.

I also think the colors were a good idea by the director. The song portrays a gloomy and dark picture of this girls home life and the shifting into the different vibrant colors made the video more enjoyable and gave it a warm feeling that makes the viewer feel good about how this video would end. Having a feeling of hope through the whole video was a great feel for me at least (even though I knew the video would most likely have a happy ending). It also wasn't too busy and more simple than I was first expecting.
Very good video.

Easily tied as my favorite video of hers alongside "Somethin' Bad" (which is technically Miranda's, but whatever).
Carrie's music video catalog has grown to become absolutely stellar. Everything about "Little Toy Guns" -- from the lyrics, to the song as a whole, to the music video -- is so conceptually unique and cool.

Visually, the video is very beautiful. Stunning. I would have liked a little more development of the storyline in the woods, however.

Over 1 million Facebook views in 3 hours, Slayage. It'll be on VEVO tomorrow.

Do the streams on FB count towards the Hot Country Songs? Or is it only YouTube? Just wondering. It's gotten one hell of a response in just over 4 hours already, so it'd be a shame to see the nearly 1.5 million views go "discounted."

I enjoyed the video.
It's extremely well-done, and I love the use of the smoke and vibrant colors.
I love that Carrie has moved into such a creative zone with her videos; her eye for creative, moving video treatments has grown tremendously, right along with the increasing quality of her music. As someone who loves great songs and videos to match, I'm thrilled that LTG's treatment matches up to the quality of the song (which is stellar as well) Easily her best since 'Cadillacs' for me.

I personally think the video is a total snore. Same setting for 90% of the video with just shots of her singing and no profound storyline throughout. I think they could have done much better.
