Hey sabre14 has Jana been gaining well the last few weeks it feels like she's finally making some great progress and I am starting to think Warner Bros might be in it for the long haul and possibly aim for a Top 15 or even Top 10 well at least I can hope.

I think Warner's going to push this as long as they can. The album release coming now is great timing for this song to catch a boost, although I doubt this can hang on long enough for a top 5 peak and a top 10 peak is still a tall task since Jana would need to double her MB audience. "I Got The Boy" is up 1.5 million in audience this week but unfortunately, nearly all of that is due to KKBQ in Houston as they have given this song a 60 spin increase over the past seven days.

I hope this means Carrie brings Jana on tour with her and they duet in the future! :) anyways back to no.6 on iTunes country following her amazing performance on gma. Now I just hope it can hit top 10 before the chart freeze.

Wow, that guy at the dobro surely had an epic beard!
I wouldn't be opposed at all if I Got The Boy had a Grammy nomination. I mean, why not? The song is great, and might even propel her career a bit more.

This has had an amazing week. So happy it's really taking off now!! It looks as though this will be top 20 finally this coming week. Hoping radio shoots this all the way too the top, this song could smash hard. Top 15 is definitely in the cards at this point and I almost wanna say top 10 is possible as well.

Does anyone know the sales for this? I hope it's close to gold.
Any thoughts on when this might peak.?? I was thinking early January, but I would prefer mid February. Hope it last that long and I also hope it hits top 5.

I think Jana is really starting to hit her stride on the AirPlay Chart. Jana continues to see solid gains and I think she can sneak in the Top 10 by the time the holiday freeze happens. Kelsea isn't catching up anytime soon. Parmalee and Big & Rich look to be passed easily soon and none of the songs underneath (Randy, Granger, and Sam) appear to hold any real threats for a while at least. I'm impressed that Jana has made it this far between her and LoCash those two songs have been the definitions of underdog songs in 2015 and I am curious to see if Jana or LoCash can hit the top of the chart.

Glad that this one has been hitting a stride lately. Perhaps country radio wised up finally and realized this one was selling was too well to ignore. I really hope it at least makes the Top 10!

Glad to see her climbing the charts again! Seems like she was totally ignored after "Why Ya Wanna".

I really hope it at least makes the Top 10! i hope top 5 if they continue to push it more! But either way I see this song scoring an ACM nomination in April and I hope a Grammy nom when the nominations coming soon! Though its a long shot considering but either way I hope after this next is Circles or boomerang.

Word is "said no one ever" is the next single.
I hope we all had fun hearing Jana on the radio with this lovely song, because SNE will be a momentum killer, and possibly a career ender.

*facepalm* ugh. Said No One Ever is one of the best songs Said No One Ever. Seriously Said No One Ever just wouldn't work for radio. It's way too polarizing. It's just a dumb song in general. If they wanted a radio friendly option why not Boomerang or hell even Don't Touch My Radio even though that does send mixed messages just saying (it has worn off me). Personally I think they should go with Circles as that's both loved and radio friendly.

"Said No One Ever" is easily one of the most annoying songs I've heard by any country artist over the past several years.

I love "Said No One Ever" and think it's very catchy and cleverly-written and has an enjoyable melody, but it's definitely not single-worthy over so many other uptempos on this album ("Boomerang," "Don't Touch My Radio," "Circles"). I'd honestly be pretty surprised if they released that next over any of those three.

Either way, all three would make better singles for radio, imo. I also think "Bullet" would be an okay choice, too, though I like the other three a lot more. I'd love to see "Don't Touch My Radio" next and then either "Boomerang" or "Circles" for the fourth single. That'd be a perfect era for me singles-wise. <3

"Circles" or "Boomerang" would be my first choices, but I think "Last Song" and "Don't Touch My Radio" would work as well.

Hey sabre14 do you think it's in the cards for I Got The Boy to have a Top 10 finish. It feels like it's really close to the Top 10 but I know the weeks have really piled on now. Also how are the sales for I Got The Boy.

If you ignore the panel change, "I Got The Boy" has gained about 400 spins and 2.6 million in audience over the past two weeks and its currently #10 on the Country iTunes chart and #76 on the all-genre chart -- the sales have been stellar for most of its chart run.
Jana is #14 on this week's MB chart and over the next three weeks, there will be four songs going bye-bye or falling below Jana on MB ("Break Up With Him", "Let Me See Ya Girl", "Run Away With You", "Smoke Break"); Big & Rich are having a massive top 10 push from now until next weekend. With only a couple weeks left before the Christmas shutdown, I'm sure that the Warner promotion team will continue to push "I Got The Boy" hard, in hope for a top 10 finish, on either chart, by Christmas. I wouldn't expect a new single from Jana until January or February.
