Well, it's difficult to be oversaturated when never had a proper release. Back in the day it was more like a buzz single in the UK that never charted (only made some impact with the release of the album (till recently it's peak was the same week Stay with me was released). I think they should release the album version which is less slow (but of course release something exactly the same that something there's on an album that sold more than 1.5 million is maybe not a good idea)
It's 35 on AC which is quite surprising given his two previous songs are top 5.
It lost a couple of spots in the UK chart, the album is at number 2.
I don't know the official sales this year in UK, but i wouldn't be surprised in the same three continue their domination, Sam is at 2, Ed is at 3 and Geoge is at 4 (George should be near to reach 1 million)

That version has so much more potential than the original.

The new version is getting near top 100 on itunes. If it works like the other collaboration of his singles it will go at least top 50 (of course SWM and INOO were higher when the collaboration was released if my memory doens't fail). The original version is top 50 again (48) unfortunately tomorrow there will be new releases an like the week before it will probably drop out of top 60, maybe this will hold its ground, we'll see.
Today's update was weak, but at least it was positive (i was fearing the worse) and it was a weak update day for most of the songs

Well, this is for Children in need charity which explains the redo of the song. Like most Children in need singles is doing well in UK (number 10 right now)

Well, the version with John is top 30, i think it's the first time a collaboration is doing better than the original (and the original is at 47). If the song it's able to hold there for a bit it will be top 50 on the billboard hot 100 next week, and probably will make it gain some momentum (but radio updates need to get better)
Number 4 on the UK itunes chart

With the two versions combined it's top 10, and the John Legend version is moving up pretty rapidly.. Hope this helps the airplay!

John just came in and took over Sam's song. I like it more than the previous versions.

Wow, the version with John is top 10 (the original is at 45) and number 3 in UK. It really gave new legs to the song Even today's update was more positive

So happy this is doing so well digitally. I don't see it doing well on Pop but it doesn't even matter. This is SO good and the duet version with John is FLAWLESS.

The John Legend version is 5 at the midweek update on the UK chart, the original is at 18, they didn't combine both versions, but i suppose in the USA chart it would be different. I think it will get a shot at number one by the end of the week if it's able to sustain the difference it has over GDFR right now
The pop airplay update is weak, hopefully it will start to get better updates from now on. At least with the John Legend version doing so well, it will get a good peak position on the Hot 100
By the way, the album spend its 31th non consecutive week at the top 10, most weeks for a male artist since Justin Bieber's My world 2.0 in 2010-11

Don't like the duet version as much because the best thing about this song is Sam's amazingly powerful vocals, and John frankly can't compete. John has a great tone and soulful voice, but it's not a big voice like Sam. And this song demands a big voice. Anyways, if it helps it become a hit then I guess it's worthwhile.

It's good that the song is holding well on itunes, because the pop udpates during this week are really awful (even the audience is low in comparision with other songs in the same area).

I like the duet version more. Breathes a bit more like into it. Sounds like they're singing to each other though, and I'm not sure that was the intention.

Well, that's one of the risk of making a duet of a song not created to be a duet :)

The due version did a great job, it's falling now, but not too fast. The worst part is the original version lost more than 10 positions on itunes, and at least till now the airplay is far from great. So i predict a top 20 peak and that's all. Maybe it changes its pace, but the callout scores on Hot AC are not bad but far from great, so i wouldn't surprise me if it ends with a higher peak on the hot 100 than on the pop chart.
On the other hand, i think there was a performance of this song because suddenly its dominance on the UK itunes chart is even clearer, i would be very surprised if it won't get number one on the UK chart this week

As expected it got number one on the UK chart. He has five song on the top 40 chart, including two versions of this song
And it stole Madonna the number one on the albums charts

Frankly this doesn't seem to go nowhere on radio. Today's negative update doesn't make it look good at all

So POP isn't laying John Legend down on him? Or is Sam laying down by himself?

How exactly did this reach Top 10 on the Hot 100? Good for him, but... how?
