So that's 10 weeks at #1 for 1989. Her record is 11 weeks with Fearless.

Ouch @ Ne-Yo. Taylor will break her personal record with this album easily.

Damn I wish Nicki could pull that move she did when she topped the chart with low sales with PF.

If Style perform like it's supposed to be, I think 1989 will be in top 10 for at least until April.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6451205/taylor-swift-1989-number-1Taylor Swift's '1989' Heading Back to No. 1By Keith Caulfield | January 28, 2015 8:33 PM EST After a two-week vacation from the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200, it appears Taylor Swift's 1989 is heading back to the top of the chart. While it's too early to project how many units the album will earn in the week ending Feb. 1, industry sources seem confident that nothing will challenge 1989's return to No. 1. It would mark 1989's 10th week at No. 1. The top 10 of the new Billboard 200 chart will be revealed on Wednesday, Feb. 4. It's not that often an album racks up 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It's only happened 11 times since Nielsen Music began powering the chart with its point-of-sale data back on the chart dated May 25, 1991. And, in that span of time, only four women have logged 10 or more weeks at No. 1 with an album: Adele (21, 24 weeks), Whitney Houston (The Bodyguard soundtrack, 20 weeks), Alanis Morissette (Jagged Little Pill, 12 weeks) and Swift herself (Fearless, 11 weeks). Next week's highest debut looks to be Ne-Yo's Non-Fiction, which may start with around 35,000 in overall album equivalent units. That sum might place the set toward the bottom of the top 10.

Taylor back at #1 with "1989". I really hope she could break "21"'s weeks at #1 but lots of new releases in the coming months could block it.

Does anyone else think 50 Shades of Grey will be absolutely massive?

^Considering how well LMLYD and Earned It has performed so far, I think we have a future Platinum soundtrack, though I'm not really sure about that, but it seemed to be set for at least Gold.

Does anyone else think 50 Shades of Grey will be absolutely massive? I think it will depend on how the movie is received tbh. If the movie is big, the soundtrack will probably go at least gold. It's already #11 on preorder, so it should have a pretty decent first week if the preorders stay strong Also, how is George Ezra moving 20k? That would put him on the same level as Tove Lo and Charli XCX, but without any sort of mainstream success.

LOL only two days left until February. Actually January seems to be pretty decent month, early spring and summer are the worst.

I feel like the "Style" music video and Grammy performance (if she performs it there) could make her album sell over 100k weekly again. That song has potential to be a MONSTER and really cross over demographics, the disco guitar helps.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6458142/ne-yo-non-fiction-top-10-debutNe-Yo's 'Non-Fiction' Aiming for Top 10 Debut on Billboard 200 ChartBy Keith Caulfield | January 30, 2015 9:32 PM EST The top of next week's Billboard 200 will have little movement, as there is only one new album heading for a possible top 10 debut: Ne-Yo's Non-Fiction. The R&B singer's latest effort, released Jan. 27 on Motown Records, has a chance of starting in the lower half of the top 10, with perhaps 35,000-40,000 units earned in the week ending Feb. 1 (according to industry forecasters). It would mark the entertainer's sixth consecutive top 10 album (his entirety of releases). The Billboard 200 chart ranks the week's most popular albums based on their overall consumption. That overall unit figure combines pure album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). It's expected that Taylor Swift's 1989 will return to No. 1 for a 10th nonconsecutive week, making it just the 12th album in the Nielsen era (1991-present) to spend at least 10 weeks at No. 1. The new Billboard 200's top 10 will be revealed on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Other albums heading for a high debut on next week's chart (just not in the top 10) include Bethel Music's We Will Not Be Shaken, Papa Roach's F.E.A.R., George Ezra's Wanted on Voyage and Charlie Wilson's Forever Charlie.

As long as she will be getting single hits i think she could pull a Sam Smith and get decent sales week after week for months

I think Meghan's album will have a chart performance similar to Animal by Ke$ha, which had amazing longevity!

What is Ed Sheeran up to now in sales? He's been pretty consistent.
