From the Furious 7 soundtrack, this will be "aggressively" pushed to radio in April after premiering in March. From Billboard:

Pretty sure "premiering on Clear Channel radio stations on March 9" = hourly deal. Wow.

They should've "aggresively" pushed "We Own It". That song was a smash.

I hated We Own It, so I'm glad they didn't.

In that case, I'll be listening in on Z100 and see just how 'aggressive' this push really is ;)

A snippet is out there, I believe its just the beginning and some of it gave me Sam Smith teas (maybe I'm reaching though) but I couldnt really form an opinion yet
wish they had planned a CC deal for Go Hard or Go Home since that managed to stay top 30/20 on iTunes for the past week without any relevant airplay I assume? :'(

It's in Memory of Paul Walker so I can see why they would give this song the deal.

It is also the last video of 5 that will debut every week until the films release on April 3rd.

So does anyone know if that "Clear Channel" premiere actually happened?
It's not listed on the iHeartRadio premiere website, and I haven't seen any social media posts that would suggest it received some big radio launch today.

Yeah this is pretty good. Wiz was a good choice for rapper on this one. Not sure what this can do on the charts though, it's so hard to predict rap songs these days. Certainly wouldn't mind seeing this one do well though.

Getting a huge boost from the movie. Up to #6 on iTunes and sure to go higher.
Wiz will perform this on The Voice next week. Interestingly, he'll duet with former contestant Chris Jamison rather than with Charlie Puth.

Since it's first 'impacting' 4/7 and UF gets that 14th week, if the song smashes (which it looks like it may as its #1 on iTunes now) there's a very good chance 'this' will be the song to dethrone UF maybe 3-4 weeks after? Even if sales are amazing, it still needs to build on radio, streaming, video etc...All it has this second really is sales.

The premiere did wonders for this song. #1 on iTunes with a near 0.4 lead over Uptown Funk.

Good song. Wasn't impressed with Puth on "Marvin Gaye" (his voice is nice, but it's so painfully generic - and he gets completely upstaged by a phoned-in Meghan Trainor performance) and I'm still not blown away with him (what's his hook exactly?), but his voice definitely complements Khalifa's verses well.

With video making the rounds and a performance on The Voice coming up... if this has a huge week in sales, it could unseat UF next week.
I don't know if those fb views/streams count towards Billboard, though. Surely there will be some sort of discussion if it's not.

No disrespect to the artists and certainly none to the incredible Paul Walker, but this song is the sort of predictable and sappy tribute song that we've heard so many times. As much as I can appreciate the sentiment, it's such a cliche, plain, and dated song that I'd rather not have all over my radio this summer. It's dedicated to a beloved celebrity, it's so universal and it's Wiz's poppiest song to date so I'm sure it will be huge for months to come. I don't know if those fb views/streams count towards Billboard, though. Surely there will be some sort of discussion if it's not. Billboard doesn't count Facebook streams which kind of makes counting ANY streams seem pointless since more and more popular content is becoming Facebook exclusive.

Its a nice, pretty song but nothing at all 'special'. Def hit worthy but not to the degree of what it's doing this second. Obviously the movie only just came out so I get it. It's just a very cliche/tired, depressing rap/pop ballad by the numbers but such a non summer song. Who wants to hear something as dreary as downbeat in their cars w/ the window down w/ this playing lol. That said, def. be prepared for this song to be everywhere until next fall-ish lol. Even then, it'll still be played too much :/.

It's gotten an additional 10 million views in 12 hours. It's a shame if these streams aren't included in Billboard's calculations.

Unless they already know they have the sales #s to topple UF next week ;) But, yeah, no doubt if this was on You Tube it would prob. make it 100%. Since its still just sales and minimal airplay its not 100% yet.
