ah, this one killed Toad's chances of going top 2. I still think it's an alright song. Nowhere as charismatic as "Figure It Out" was. At least that's how I hear it. I told you... yes you did, but at least I was on target about "Angel" going top 3. Even if for one week.

Royal Blood (the album) is at #10 on iTunes! I know that was after a discount, but it's still impressive. IIRC, it was at #5 at some point.

This should go top 20 on Mediabase by the end of this week; AWOLNATION will go recurrent and Death Cab will too if it continues to plummet at the rate it's going. It's nearest competitors are Florence and BORNS, but they are over 100 spins away.

These guys put on a hell of a show at Bonnaroo, playing their entire debut album. Would love to see this go Top 10 on Alt.

I was worried this wasn't going to make top 20. Now all of a sudden, it's jumped to number 15! Hopefully, this will be what it needs to get more stations to jump on it.

Only 15 spins behind Breaking Benjamin on Mediabase today, this should probably take #1 Mediabase in the next few days but #1 BB will be harder since Royal Blood is lagging behind in Heritage spins.
I hope this can get #1 somewhere (Out Of The Black peaked at #2 and Figure It Out peaked at #3 iirc), Royal Blood is too good of a band to have to settle for 3 near misses at #1.

(prays that BB collapses in spins)
Yeah, on Billboard the gap is 129 spins. That's quite hard to close, BB lost only 52 spins last week.

This is the kind of song that is turning alternative the wrong way. I don't think very many listeners actually like this, but its on corporate playlists anyways.

its on corporate playlists anyways. The Alternative format doesn't have "corporate playlists" - 2/3 of the stations on the Mediabase panel are owned by small or independent companies
This isn't even cracking the Top 200 Alternative ITunes chart, so IMO stations are probably using it to balance out their sound - it's also 15 spins away from being #1 on the Active chart, so people must like it, I guess just not feel very strongly about it

He's joking, noticed Cody changed his profile picture and screen name because of Doc Indie Party Rock's warped logic (as discussed in the Sedona and Ex's & Oh's threads)

Glad to see that one of Active's best new acts finally getting a #1. As for Billboard though...

Only 19 spins away from Failure when combining Mediabase Active and Heritage panels.
Failure - 1827 Little Monster - 1808
If this can stick around for a little bit longer so Breaking Benjamin can bleed out on Active, Royal Blood have a chance at a Billboard #1 hit.

Come on, "Little Monster", just hold on long enough to get #1 on Billboard...that's all I ask for.

Combined for today: Little Monster: 1846 spins Failure: 1790 spins when does the tracking week end for Billboard? Could this grab #1 as early as this week?

Come On Over is definitely their best bet for a fourth hit. With their momentum, I see another Top 10 on Active and a Top 20 on Alt.

Am I the only one that just doesn't get it? I mean, they're competent enough musicians, but it's not enough to keep me listening to the whole thing. Am I legally deaf?

Come On Over is probably the best choice for radio, I'd love that, or Loose Change, or Ten Tonne Skeleton, or Blood Hands, or....
