She performed "Good for You", "Same Old Love", and a mashup of "Come & Get It" and "Me & the Rhythm" on the Today show this morning. She looked great and sounded pretty good, especially on the first track.
Also her snapchats are adorable.

Did not like most of the album on my first couple of listens but it has grown on me a lot. Not my favorite Selena album but it's a solid effort. This might be the first time I buy a standard edition instead of a deluxe though.

I loved the album since the first listen and with each listen, the songs grow even more in me. For me her best album definitely and of the best albums of 2015, as well!

After hearing the whole album, I have to agree that "Stars Dance" was a better album to me too. There are a good bunch of songs on "Revival" that I like, but there are some that I just don't care about. "Revival" isn't a bad album, it's just not that great either. Anyway, I still love Selena, and always hope for the best.

Her and Demi just have no chill when it comes to album filler. Their singles are so great, and every era I wonder "maybe this will be the album", but both of them gave me spotty releases yet again. The highlights are great, but can't say I'm not using the skip button.

Shaking and crying that I just bought my tickets to see the tour.

I am always intrigued when posters here (particularly the ones who primarily post about pop releases) make statements like "Pop Album X" is the best/one of the best of the year. With so much music out there, I think it would behoove y'all to step outside of the pop realm if you think Revival is truly of that caliber but...everyone is different.

But also, thank you for blessing us with your deeply encompassing knowledge of all music out there ever...

I mean, when they say that on here, I feel like it's implied that they're talking about pop albums I wouldn't be so sure...but...OK. But also, people are allowed to have opinions that are different than yours and the term "best" is wildly subjective. So let others enjoy what they want to when no one's coming for you? You need to point me to where I said people were not allowed to have opinions different than mine. I was just questioning if this album is deserving of such hyperbolic praise, especially when there are other pop albums (never mind albums outside the genre) that are more well-structured and fully realized but yes, this is my opinion. From the way you came at me, it seems like you are of the opinion that Selegenda Godmez walks on water but...maybe that's just my interpretation and you actually think she is just OK? But also, thank you for blessing us with your deeply encompassing knowledge of all music out there ever... CLEARLY you feel some type of way that transcends my simple statement so...continue to enjoy the album and I will continue to enjoy the few songs I love. As I have blocked others on this board, if you really cannot handle my critique of this album and Selena in general, feel free to use that feature on me. I won't be offended, I promise.

I'm not sure how I feel about the album as a whole, but "Sober" is the shit.

Girl, I have yet to say this album is the album of the year, let alone the best pop album of the year. But you know you were coming in here to throw some shade and rile up some annoyance. We heard your middling reviews of the album the first 3 times you posted and you have yet to expound upon that or add to the discussion. With so much music out there, I think it would behoove y'all to step outside of the pop realm if you think Revival is truly of that caliber but... And here is where you condescend to people that like the album, implying they should have a different opinion than the one they have.

I tried the first 6 songs but nothing grabbed me. Even Stars Dance had a few songs that I enjoyed (Slow Down, Forget Forever). The thing that I really noticed about the album is how they decided to kill em with autotune. I liked her earliar works but after her second album with the Scene she's gotten gradually worse in my opinion.

So.. I decided to give a few more listens, and I just realized how forgettable some of the songs is. Definitely down a notch for me. But still, pretty nice.

I actually think she is getting better as an artist. With each album, I find more interest. While it's not enough to get me to buy her albums or see them as great projects overall, at least she is improving.

I tried listening to the album a few days ago but nothing from the first few tracks was impressing me. I'll give it another go later though! I'm always rooting for this bitch to serve me a good album because I really do like her and always love her singles. I don't see why she can't seem to make a complete album filled with pop gold?
ETA: I gave the album another chance and okay, okay... It's a cute little album. Very generic and nothing new here but I do think there are quite a few nice tracks that I could put on replay here or there such as the singles (which slay!) and Sober, Camouflage, Rise, Me & My Girls and Perfect. Revival has some good moments of hooks but overall it's kind of a mess (the track, not the album) and Hands to Myself is growing on me. I mean honestly like I said, it is a cute little album to play if you want some really basic listening to bop your head to for a little bit- it's not a bad album per se.

Sober is amazing. In a weird way it almost works as a response to The Hills. Wish this would have been the second single instead of Same Old Love. Not that it's a bad song, just doesn't feel as much like a Selena song as sober does.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6723058/selena-gomez-revival-number-1-billboard-200-chartSelena Gomez's 'Revival' Heading for No. 1 on Billboard 200 ChartBy Keith Caulfield | October 12, 2015 Selena Gomez is on track to earn her second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with her latest release, Revival. Industry forecasters suggest the set -- which was released on Oct. 9 through Interscope Records -- may move upwards of 110,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 15. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the Oct. 31-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Gomez may debut at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s Web sites on Sunday, Oct. 18. Trailing not too far behind Gomez is The Game’s new album, The Documentary 2, which might shift around 90,000 or more. It’s the first of a two-part release for the rapper, who will issue the second half of the set, The Documentary 2.5, on Oct. 16. Gomez previously led the list with her last studio effort, 2013’s Stars Dance (97,000 copies sold in its first week). The Game has tallied three leaders: The R.E.D. Album (2011), Doctor’s Advocate (2006) and The Documentary (2005).

I just noticed that "The Heart Wants What It Wants" is not on the album lol That was the lead single to her "Greatest Hits" (really just the album to get her out of her Hollywood Records contract).

Just listened to Sober! I love it, except for the instrumental when she is singing. It might just be my file, but the bass or something sounds super loud, and unnecessary. I hope it is just my file. I would actually be quite happy if Me & The Rhytym is the next single

Very good sales! I wonder what single they plan on releasing next. I feel like it should be Nobody or Sober but feel like it's gonna be Me & The Rhythm.

Revival-74 on Metacritic!!!
Stars Dance-59
Big Ass Upgrade. A lot of pop albums recently have been ranking in the 70's which is awesome.

I think Me & The Rhythm will be next. It sounds tailored to be a radio hit and it's different than her first two singles.

Every time I hear the beginning of "Rise" I get Alicia Keys sings "Colors of the Wind" teas. If that makes any sense...
